Housing Shortage

I still cannot get my head around  why seeing the human body as God created it, is immoral, whilst killing in the name of the same God is morally good.

It just doesn't  make much sense  to me.

The road to hell is paved with graven images of tits n bums?

When I was in year 8, the next door neighbour threw out a suitcase one one of those hard rubbish collection days. Curiosity got the better of me and a mate, so we snuck off with it, and inside it was brim full of soft porn mags like Playboy, Penthouse and Oui. We did a roaring trade at the private school we went to, but when my father foundout, he hit the roof as looking at these magazines was sin to him (well, it wasn't. but he did, until the day he passed, worry I may never grow up and was always protective of me for some reason). Anyway, as my father was normally quite progressive, his response did confuse me a bit; at around 14, when hairs are starting to appear where we no longer want them to, you would have thought he would have realised those magazines naturally piqued out interest.

Fast forward to a few years ago and you can imagine the bemusement I felt when I unblocked my tablet to a porn scene where two naked girls in just garter belts and maids caps; one dusting the shelves whhile her posteriour was jutted out slightly showing both cavities cleaarly, while the other looking up at the man with a facial expression seeking approval while her mouth was enveloping his manhood. Although this was by no means hard or oppressive, the difference between that scene and the most that one got in the aforementioned publications was the afrementioned publications seemed to be highlighting the beauty of the women's body (evocatively) rather than showing them are purely sex objects to do the billing of the make gender (provocative?).

At first I was really angry - not that he was looking at them - he was well into his teenage years at the time; but he used my tablet to look at them, which I let hom no in no uncertain terms showed a lack of respect, and an abuse of other people's property. I was about to launch into looking at demeaning porn, buit toned it doen and went down the educative root, about this is all a money making thing, and that life is verry different to what you see in porn vids - but to be honest, the rannge of desrires is infinite, so no doubt there are some women and men who do enjoy being taken advantage of; but in his relationships he must be at all times respectul.. To his credit, his response was a lot more mature than I expected, which basically elaborated on what I had to say.. So Kudo to him.

Of course, the aforementioned magaiznes weren't exactly diverse in the women they portrayed; they largely had the same shape and only the size of their breasts changed, in the norm; you didn't see all shapes and sizes that women come in; so I am not saying they were not using sex and portraying women as sex objects, but by and large, at least in those days, there was a bit more decorum about them.

I do remember seeing one English magazine - can't recall its name - when I was about 18 - that did a feature on mature (about 40-ish) voluptuous women; and I have to admit, I did find them quite alluring. Again, they were done with class; I think when you have those that spread their leags and bits with it; and of course those that depcit demeaning the subject or the oppressive and depravity things that some people get off on, well, that is out of bounds...

Please forgive me Jerry, I don't mean to be offensive. It took me so long reading that post and trying to work out what words you were trying to use, that I didn't have time to read the original (before your edit) to determine exactly what you edited. (Moderators can read edit history.) If that were my post, and I proof read it and edited it, I would have corrected at least 25 or 30 other errors/typo's. Sorry mate. I thought I was suffering dementia.

The internet ruined quite a few boys entrepreneurial careers.   There was a kid at my school in grade 8 whose older brother bought porn mags and passed them on to him.  He then cut the pages out and sold them at school (I think it was for $2 each).

They could have saved money if they had only pulled themselves together.

You're forgiven; no offence taken.. My edit was to finish the post as I accidenally clicked submit. When I have a few things on, I am afraid I don't proof read.. Sorry!

[Edit] If the window to edit one's post was left open a little wider, I may get around to proof-reading and correcting 😉

I'd  wager that kid could put a deposit on his first house by the time he graduated.
