Silly Picture Thread.

I wish I could get LPG for a $1 a litre! I paid $1.23 yesterday to fill my forklift gas bottles, and todays average price is $1.32 a litre!

I was towing my loaded car trailer with my diesel Hilux up the highway on Thursday, sitting on about 95kmh - when a bloke in a 5.6L V8 Nissan Patrol, towing a huge great tandem off-road caravan, roared past me (overtaking me) at about 110 kmh!! I reckon he would've been paying out probably $40 an hour in fuel, at the rate he was travelling at!!

Some of these newer 5ltrs V8s are very economical.

A relo,s comadore shuts down a numder of cylinders,  when the need for horses declines,

( 10 ltrs per 100 k ). And the Big Toyota V8 diesel,  also becomes economical WHEN Not towing.

My four pot 2.8 is always 13 ish litres per hundred ks, and it does,nt make a lot of difference how economically l drive it. ( its a big 4X4 box on wheels . ( 12lph my  best )),
