Nice looking plane. Still got 3 days on the auction and there's usually a reserve on things like this, plus a huge buyer's premium to the auction company.

With very little information provided,  not even if current rego, it was' registe4ed for sale ' .

Up to about $ 1500 now .

Spacey, forget about acquiring a Storch for a low price, Slatterys are as devious as all the other auctioneers, they fail to advise the item has a reserved price, and they will keep auctioning it month after month, until they get what they want for it. Either that, or they will flush out the bidders and then call them, and try to get them to pay the reserve price.

What random thoughts possessed them to name the aircraft "Woodhen" after a flightless, ground dwelling bird?

The question was "What state has only one syllable?" Of course, the answer is Maine.

 

But one intellectual replied Arkansas, while another answered "All of them - they are solid states. No gas or liquid." There is no hope.

I have been driving this hire car for more than a month and find it easy to remember the number plate. Kingsford Smith and Charles Ulm started their collaboration in, I think, 1927. I wish it had been 1924!
