I 'can ' learn to fly . spacesailor PS. : who do we know in Serpentin ( WA ? ) . Nice looking plane. Still got 3 days on the auction and there's usually a reserve on things like this, plus a huge buyer's premium to the auction company. https://www.slatteryauctions.com.au/asset?consignmentNo=1-4-1-015614
spacesailor Posted Friday at 09:43 AM Posted Friday at 09:43 AM (edited) The last I saw sold/sale was$49.999 in WA . With very little information provided, not even if current rego, it was' registe4ed for sale ' . Up to about $ 1500 now . spacesailor Edited Friday at 09:45 AM by spacesailor Missed a word
onetrack Posted Friday at 03:09 PM Posted Friday at 03:09 PM Spacey, forget about acquiring a Storch for a low price, Slatterys are as devious as all the other auctioneers, they fail to advise the item has a reserved price, and they will keep auctioning it month after month, until they get what they want for it. Either that, or they will flush out the bidders and then call them, and try to get them to pay the reserve price.
pmccarthy Posted Friday at 04:09 PM Posted Friday at 04:09 PM If it is an LSA then any repairs that need parts may be a problem, Fly Synthesis no longer exists. 1 1
nomadpete Posted Saturday at 10:58 PM Posted Saturday at 10:58 PM Random thought for today.... I just flew back from Lord Howe Island on a Dash 8. What random thoughts possessed them to name the aircraft "Woodhen" after a flightless, ground dwelling bird? 1 2
facthunter Posted Sunday at 01:17 AM Posted Sunday at 01:17 AM I for one "Woodhen " Know for sure, but being Flightless it's likely to belong there. NZeders are known as KIWIS. Nev 1
red750 Posted Sunday at 02:35 AM Posted Sunday at 02:35 AM There have been thousands of reports of how so many Americans are turnip heads, starting with their election of the orange buffoon. I've just been looking at one of the miriad of riddles posted on FB. The question was "What state has only one syllable?" Of course, the answer is Maine. But one intellectual replied Arkansas, while another answered "All of them - they are solid states. No gas or liquid." There is no hope. 1 1
facthunter Posted Sunday at 03:01 AM Posted Sunday at 03:01 AM (edited) Trump wants them to be even LESS educated. The STATE of America is "Flawed Government". At Least that person knew there were only 3 states that Matter can exist in. Nev Edited Sunday at 03:05 AM by facthunter 1 1
old man emu Posted Sunday at 03:24 AM Posted Sunday at 03:24 AM There are four States of Matter. Plasma is a state of matter characterized by charged particles, often described as the fourth state of matter after solid, liquid, and gas. 1

old man emu Posted Sunday at 08:12 AM Posted Sunday at 08:12 AM And there's research into the creation of the 51st State, if that matters. 1
nomadpete Posted Sunday at 08:20 PM Posted Sunday at 08:20 PM Don't forget the planned 53rd state.... Pine Gap (after Canadia & Greenishland) 1
facthunter Posted Sunday at 10:21 PM Posted Sunday at 10:21 PM The State of America is parlous. Nev 1 1
pmccarthy Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I have been driving this hire car for more than a month and find it easy to remember the number plate. Kingsford Smith and Charles Ulm started their collaboration in, I think, 1927. I wish it had been 1924! 2 1
