I can't let that pass. You would have to be wholly ignorant of the last 40 years of history to think that Iran has not been a threat and an ongoing disrupter of western society, and the leading global sponsor of terrorism. I am very pleased that they have been interrupted in their quest for a nuclear weapon.

To argue that the problem is the mullahs and not the people of Iran is a specious argument. Every society must take responsibility for what its leadership does and bear the consequences, as did Germany and Japan.

I don't dispute that Iran has that history.

However, I disagree about the bombing interrupting their quest for nuclear or any other weapons.

It surely proves to the people that if only they had some nuclear bombs (just like Israel) they would be less vulnerable to a foreign country bombing them (it works for Israel).

I don't see a positive side to any of it.

Someone  said the Population of IRAN is 8 Million. It's actually 93.7 Million.  A lot of the water is from Desal Plants in the South.  It's also quite a LARGE area with Teheran at 9300 feet altitude. Nev

In addition to higher prices per litre, people are reporting that the pumps are saying they put more than the capacity of their tank in the car.  eg.  One person said their 80 litre car tank showed it took 92 litres. Another said their 10 litre jerry can took 15 litres on the pump.

Yeah, I bet it's a Big and Beautiful Gold Present. A golden bomb in the shape of Donald, specially delivered to him in person, by an Iranian courier!

They know just how much he loves getting personal, gold-plated presents!

Do Shahed drones come in gold?

Fiddling with the meter is something that has been going on for ages. The problem in mounting a prosecution is determining whose hand fiddled with the setting. Also, there are not enough Weights and Measures inspectors to do the checking.

Makes me sick.

And you just watch the supermarkets cashing in on this over the next 6mths now too.

And it'll take Gov - not that they even worry the supermarkets anyway but 6mths later by the time they've even noticed, the supermarkets have made extra billions by then.

Well everyone prob knows by now but today they say the US has presented Iran with a 15point plan , Iran's knocked it back and given the Yanks their own 5point plan.

Plastic jerry cans have a lot of headspace above the measure mark, but I can't see anyone fitting 15 litres in a 10 litre jerry can. My 20 litre jerry can would probably take 24 or 25, but the 10 litre one would probably only hold an extra two litres.
