Trump insists even now that he won the 2020 election and has been doing his best to re-write history ever since. I think the best way to resolve this would be just to tell him he was right all along and declare him the winner. Then declare the 2024 election invalid because he can't have a third term.

People working on the Production said Melania is 'Nice enough, BUT Boring'. Some people are  attending not mot enough to recoup the Large Costs. In SOME states, Understandably, NO ONE wants to go. Nev

Unfortunately I was unable to save a link as I was posting the story above about the Melania movie, but there was another  report that Trump now wants an Order of Australia award for all the good work he has done.

Maybe this report?

Not exactly serious.

Trump wouldn't have a clue what awards Australia has anyway, although if he can't get a Nobel Peace prize for all the wars he's stopped singlehandedly, he might be tempted by a Victoria Cross for his meritorious actions in the field. Of course he'd have to settle for bronze instead of gold, so that might be a problem.

Mentioned in this article when speaking of Trump's Stablecoin, is this little gem:  World Liberty Financial issued a stablecoin designated as $USD1. Stablecoins are digital assets pegged to a fiat currency, in this case, the U.S. Dollar.

It is that thing 'fiat currency' that can be the downfall of the Global economy if the puppetmasters working Trump's strings continue on theri current path.  I'm going to talk about fiat currencies in a separate thread in the Politics forum, if you would like to learn more.

Dear Leader has now got a gold plated statue. Will I live to see it torn down by gleeful rioters?

"It’s known as “Don Colossus.”

At 15 feet tall, the statue of President Trump, mounted on its 7,000-pound pedestal, is about the height of a two-story building — a giant effigy cast in bronze and finished with a thick layer of gold leaf.

For more than a year, the golden statue has been at the center of one of the stranger moneymaking ventures of the Trump era. A group of cryptocurrency investors paid $300,000 to have a sculptor create it as a tribute to Mr. Trump, an outspoken crypto proponent.

Then they used it to promote a memecoin called $PATRIOT."

I thought he might use it to replace the ageing, ungilded and now irrelevent Statue of Liberty.

Now for something different. This comes from Congress....

"An interesting development. It seems the USA has abandoned any pretense of supporting its allies and honouring its agreements.

...
A new United States congressional report openly contemplates not selling any nuclear submarines to Australia – as promised under the Aukus agreement – because America wants to retain control of the submarines for a potential conflict with China over Taiwan.

The report by the US Congressional Research Service, Congress’s policy research arm, posits an alternative “military division of labour” under which the submarines earmarked for sale to Australia are instead retained under US command to be sailed out of Australian bases"

When will our PM grow a pair, and pull out of the AUKUS deal?
