OME, they're called trench digging machines - you can even get trenching attachments for Bobcats. Doesn't take long to install a 200M narrow trench with them. No-one - but no-one - digs trenches by hand any more.

I read, I think it was in The Age, that people from northern climes in Australia are moving to southern climes to avoid the oppressing and dangerous heat in the north thanks to climate change. The Crikey its Wet and Climate Change Debate continues threads seems like the could be joined as one ands the discussion would be the same topic.

When does water falling from clouds become "rain". In other words, how much of that water is needed to justify claiming that it is raining? Is there a certain length of time that water has fallen continuously? What is the volumetric difference between a "shower" and "rain"?

y son managed to get the front lawn mowed for Christmas before the rain came today. A pretty heavy fall.

This photo taken down the neighbour's drive may give some idea of how big the gum tree in his yard is. The video was taken from our back yard. The fence is 6ft high. I don't know how the council would let a gumtree this tall grow in a suburban backyard.
