red750 Posted Sunday at 09:03 AM Posted Sunday at 09:03 AM Only the slightest sprinkling of rain today, but it didn't get hot. Quite a bit of sunshine.
onetrack Posted Sunday at 09:45 AM Posted Sunday at 09:45 AM (edited) Just wait - next week, you'll be turning on the A/C full blast. 30°C here today, the forecast is for 33°C tomorrow and 34°C on Tuesday, then dropping steadily all the rest of the week. Edited Sunday at 09:48 AM by onetrack
facthunter Posted Monday at 03:40 AM Posted Monday at 03:40 AM You Live in the WRONG Place. Plant Cacti and big rocks. . Nev
onetrack Posted Monday at 01:31 PM Posted Monday at 01:31 PM I live in the best place in Australia, Nev, and I have no desire to live in any of the Eastern States. I have lived in Sydney for 7 mths (in the Army) and 3 mths at Puckapunyal. Nothing makes me want to return to either of those places to live. Give me warmth over cold any day. And I like our wide open spaces, and the finest, uncongested beaches in Australia. 2
spacesailor Posted Monday at 10:22 PM Posted Monday at 10:22 PM (edited) I have found the " outback " too cold at night ! . The East Coast stays warmer longer into the night so I don't need that big bombfire ( Dresden 1945 ) that most travellers have before bedtime . spacesailor Edited Monday at 10:27 PM by spacesailor 1

spacesailor Posted yesterday at 09:47 AM Posted yesterday at 09:47 AM My wife & I are 'temporarily ' in this house . I always said " a few year's then move elsewhere ". My grandaughter says " it's home base " just incase !. spacesailor 1
nomadpete Posted yesterday at 10:45 AM Posted yesterday at 10:45 AM A long time ago, I said "Home is where you hang your hat". Remember, the only home you really own, is your body. I never did understand why some folk believe ther is anything sacred about the place you were born. 1
onetrack Posted yesterday at 11:19 AM Posted yesterday at 11:19 AM I've been in this house for 35 years and I never ever dreamed I'd still be here after all this time. Previously, the longest I stayed in any one place was 13 years.
red750 Posted yesterday at 12:29 PM Posted yesterday at 12:29 PM I've been in this house 46 years and won't move anywhere unless I require palliative care. Don't have to worry about interest, commissions, inflation on house prices, et al. Moving costs money. Back to the weather. Rained again most of today, with a few bursts of brilliant sunshine. My daughter said she remembered from her pamphlet delivery days, if it was raining and you could see blue sky, it meant it was going to rain harder within 30 minutes. 1
facthunter Posted yesterday at 09:29 PM Posted yesterday at 09:29 PM Supposed to be Overcast. Lovely SUNSHINE NOW. 0830. Off to the M shed for an edifying experience. Nev 1
