    I have seen that " thermal solar " were the sun was directed onto an area creating steam! . Also used for cooking by boiling Food in " hot springs " . Not for me , I like my food fried/ roasted . New fanged " camp cooking " .just isn't the same without that " camp fire " for the ' marshMallows ' . LoL spacesailor

    One diesel rumour was the outback stations were not pumping regular petrol due to ' young people sniffing ' the fumes .so I changed from petrol to diesel to be certain I could get fuel wherever I needed it . Try Buchanan hwy WA . Keep driving east , from Stuart hwy . Topsprings service station. Then Buchanan hwy,to Timber creek WA . spacesailor

    I have three good working ' laptops ' , The problem is all the WiFi receivers are outdated. they still work well " wired " . That means take the laptop to the modem, or get a long Long wire . spacesailor

    I lived outside of their '' Sinfin " factory. Even worked there for a while . Before that I worked for a concrete Contractor, pouring ( bubbley ) aerated concrete as a ' sound deadener ', over the jet testing facility . It work well , as the ' whine ' was tamed . spacesailor

    Just like our Blacktown store . my local ' chemist ' has just changed ownership, The head chemist has bought the store and the owner has bought a Cafe next door. Looking good as of now . So no gripes from me .🤑 spacesailor

    But it is all conjecture . With my childhood dance with death. All the ' learned ' agreed. 30s would be my final year. Now at 82 and still walking , even thou not ' my dream of flying ' .     Been there , done that ! . But, I didn't get a " death certificate " . Just woke up in the ' morgue ' . And can't take ' cudo's ' , as another participant in England's testing of " penicillin " , took that honour. and She went on a TV show. To explain the ' testing of penicillin ' in the UK . I often wonder how many of that original 100 penicillin ( volunteers ) are still living . ( Osteomyelitis). spacesailor

    True . Old steel was smelted with " crushed coal " . ( blast-furnace ). Giving a very high carbon content. New steel uses oil that contains ' sulphur ' . spacesailor

    Never offered me one . I just use old truck batteries . But , if they offered . Who am I to refuse . They could offer me " P V panels " For Free . Save me dragging the portable solar panels out , whenever the sun shines . LoL spacesailor
