    In the fifties , I bought a ' black ' box that tripped a circuit if you got electrocuted. I will now pull it apart t check that ' tripped ' component. I don't think it is high wattage through. spacesailor

    I like the wording!. " Constitutional " Monachy ". If you could get " Constitutional " into Republic. I wouldn't object to a " Constitutional Republic " . Not quite as good as a " Constitutional Democracy " . Something like ' the people vote their government ' into power. spacesailor

    One track You Are not as ' unlucky ' as my neighbour, Their AC has been on the blink for the last three owners. I said start with the cheapest component to replace ! , they ( all three ) had sparkles test the wiring & past it OK . SO , One $ 3800 new AC . Later it stopped again . Just needed a new " circuit breaker " . What a joke, three electricians couldn't find a crook circuit breaker. spacesailor

    I'm told Thunder-storm rain has a '' ozone '' type element in it . I put water out for my cat . I tried ( tested ) which water the cat likes , ' Tap' Rain & storm . the storm water is my cats favorite . spacesailor

    Get him into ( word for programming ) . Mechanical will be gone in a few years , But those electronics will have to be reprogrammed for each use . My Grandson Is a qualified mechanic with the electronics to boot, But has given it away as he earns lots more elsewhere , plus a company car . spacesailor

    OME '' Seriously, I had a crutch to help me deal with Life's problems. I called it my beloved wife. '' . I'll second that ! But , when it's the wife who's down , I don't seem to help as much as ' SWMBO ' wants . Even to ' house work ' I vacuum then wash floors. Only to have it all redone by ' SWMBO ' . I really thought I was ' addicted ' to my childhood opiates from hospital . but now they say it's concussion . causing poor memory . AHH '' you only die twice '' if a lucky sod. LoL spacesailor

    ON another side ! . a second ' virus incubator ' ship has Offloaded our second wave of ' wue-flue ' . And like that first ship will depart to earn more money , leaving South-Australia to foot the bill . BUT That empty ship could ' AND SHOULD BE A QUARANTINE VESSEL '. Were is our '' international Maritime Law '' that allows vessels to offload infected passengers to the cost Australia . OOPS This is a ' rant ' . sorry ( but they ( the ship ) have lots of empty cabins to house sick people )). spacesailor

    Not so long ago the ' CBC ' were complaining of Lack of tenants . What a simple solution to this housing problem . Like '' oshckosh '' , unused university dorms are rented out . unused office space can & should be ' rented-out ' . ( simple ' shop-fitting ' to make bedrooms ) . Simple's spacesailor

    It's the fault of governments, Not recycling ' greywater ' . I put a hose onto our washing machine each time it's used . to keep our garden wet ish . Much better than it going down the sewer pipes . spacesailor

    I always check the '' fuel check sydney '' , APP thingy , then go to the cheapest servo. the best was a 12 cent litre saving , for a 5 minute out of the way sevo. Large fuel tank , so 80 something litres . now only putting small amounts in , ( stops My youngsters Borrowing the car, when told '' put fuel in '' ) LoL spacesailor

    '' The Reserve Bank is an Independant body entirely. No government controls it. '' BUT They jumped when Told to increase those interest rates , by some European or world bank. I have always said Our ' reserve bank ' is quietly spoken too by the other Australian banks . Look at that HUGE windfall they had ( default mortgages ) when we had the '' recession '' we had to have . ( to fill the banks coffers ). spacesailor

    Lake McQuarry council has targeted a widow , who inherited her husbands estate & when she decided to keep it , the council put the ' rateable ' value up, to force her to sell a parcel of land every couple of years . ( just to pay those rates ) Not just councils , but ' water ' also , empty land with NO water or sewerage is still charged as if it was connected . the owner was also charged for '' excess '' water usage , on the adjacent block they owned . ( Greystanes NSW ) . I could put in that house & empty block ' street & number ' . ( $ 3,000 connection fee. ). spacesailor
