And then to tear them down , to build " mini-mansians " on the larger old style blocks .

The council puts their land-rate at the $million mark, just to get more income for themselves.

Look at this area down the road less than 1 Km from me. One what appears to be not much more than 6 houseblocks, compared to the two on the left, they have just buily 16 dwellings. More like town houses than homes, but it's squeezing more in. And get the name- Serenity Court - fat chance.

 

 

And then there the squeezing of two or three residences onto one large building block

People NEED Houses and don't like mowing Lawns. The old 1/4 acre with sheds and a small garden are not the go in the New Burbs.. Most want to be near a Major City near the Coast so it's Supply and Demand. Anyone got any better Ideas? Nev
