Elon's push for Mars.

On top of his other distractions with DOGE and Tesla, Elon is desparate to get to Mars and start developing civilisation on that planet. He says it is essential to provide a lifeline for humanity. He says we need a self sustaining civilisation on Mars which can operate without supply ships from Earth.

 

NASA says the Sun is running out of fuel and it will start to expand to be a red star. This will involve consuming Mercury, Venus and Earth. This process is expected to start in 5 million years. He is building a city called Starbase at his Texas launch site to house the staff from his factories and facilities.

I don't know about the Martian children, but he says he wants to father 5,000 children.

If it's the old-fashioned way, it'd be a logistical nightmare.

He's 53 now (gawd, the same as me - hopefully that's our only shared attribute).  So let's generously give him 25 years of regular active sex life without the Viagra killing him.

Let's also assume he can find say 2,500 women that are prepared to bear 2 of his monsters, or else 5,000 at one each.  

Let's also assume it takes an average of 10 tries to get each woman up the duff.  So that's 50,000 roots in 25 years, or 2,000 a year (probably slowing down towards the end, lets start off with 5,000 a year and reduce as he ages).

So in that first year he has to perform about 14 times per day - every day of the year!

 

I guess at least it'll give him something to do other than wreck the US government.

Or he could take the "stud bull" approach and use semen collection methods. One shot collected and diluted into a number of smaller doses.  A bit like firing 12G birdshot as opposed to 12G slugs

That reminds me of the old joke. An old bull and young bull were by themselves in a paddock, and in the distance was a fairly large hill.

 

The young bull said to the old bull. "Do you know what's on the other side of that hill? "Nope, never been up there", came the reply.

 

"Well, let's go and find out!" said the youngster. So they tramped up this long sloping hill, and as they crested it, a paddock full of heifers came in view. Hundreds of them.

 

"Gee, would ya look at that!!", exclaimed the youngster. "Let's run down there, and f*** a few of them!!

 

"Nope", said the old bull. "Let's walk down there, and f*** the lot!!"
