A Bill of Rights

To pay for this, we will increase taxes.

There needs to be substantial modifications to the tax system if taxes are going to be increased. The tax burden currently falls largely on the middle class and lower income earners, rather than on the higher income earners. Our tax systems rewards those with huge incomes to the point that they can employ double-degree accountant/lawyers to ensure their taxation levels are only a fraction of the middle class and lower income earners.

The high earners have a myriad of tax deductions available to them that are not available to the ordinary wage earner. Start up a company and you can employ others to operate it in far-distant locations, and claims tax deductions for virtually every single thing you purchase (under the company umbrella, of course).

This current tax system of ours is unfair in the extreme, and it is perpetuated by those in power, on the false premise that people with money must receive protection from normal levels of taxation, because they employ people. Of all the false governing premises that abound, this one is the worst.

What? An intelligent  well grounded person? He won't get far in politics.

Arrest that man before the public get to hear him!

Every one of his speeches make sense to me. David vs goliath indeed.

That's not the way tax is avoided by big players. They move the cash around so the profit is ina low tax Country and locate in the Caymans etc. It used to be Swiss banks Lichtenstein Monaco Andorra . Your affairs are kept secret in these locations. There's also discretionary trusts etc and Laundered money through places like CROWN. Nev
