There is a really good six-part series on SBS on demand at present called So Long, Marianne about the early life of Leonard Cohen. He was the lover of Charmian Clift when they lived on Hydra. Charmian's (illegitimate) daughter Suzanne was my teacher at Wagga Wagga high school and Suzanne's daughter Gina Chick was the winner of Alone Australia Season 1, after surviving 67 days alone, making her only the second female and oldest contestant in the history of the Alone worldwide to win. -
The vertical pipes are much harder to transport.

If I lived in the USA I would want more secure borders, jobs, low inflation and an end to woke craziness. There is a chance of all these with Trump, I don't think there would be with any Dem candidate. -

You folks seem to be railing against the democratic outcome. The majority has spoken (MAGA nitwits?). I can see a lot of positives from a much better set of policies than the Dems had. -
This morning, I could not find the broom to sweep the kitchen floor. I asked my wife and she said "what does it look like?" That tells you all you need to know about who does the sweeping in this house.

$3M was a large amount once, but no longer. It now costs around $50 for two coffees and two toasted sandwiches at most places around here. Blame Melbourne tourists. Rates, power, Telstra etc all have doubled since a few years ago, which means the purchasing power of that $3M in super has halved. We need to work on dying before it runs out.

I drove from Mallacoota to Castlemaine on Friday. The trip should take 7 hours but took eleven, with the entire Melbourne section bumper to bumper with accidents and everyone making a long weekend run for the country.
