Steady on old mate.

I was one of those nashos, and I can tell you that I would never want a bunch of ignorant young mob (like I was then), to have any say in governing our country!

I'm still wearing my old glasses after cataract surgery, the two don't go together. I've got to wait till Jan to get my second eye done and get new glasses for close up. At the moment it's a battle to see anything clearly, and the three weeks of eye drops hasn't ended yet for the first eye.

When conscription finished on 1972, I took particular notice of the idiot politicians to see if they'd compensate Nashos in some way for our lost two years, and to admit conscription was wrong, also to apologize for threatening us with a two year jail sentence. If it was illegal for the man in the street to make threats, then it should have been illegal for politicians, even as a group, to make threats.

Not one word was said, except I think Don Chipp apologized, but that was barely enough, and Chipp resigned from the Liberals, calling them BASTARDS - quite right too.

During the "Dismissal", I knew then that the major parties were pretending that conscription never happened, and we'd never be compensated or apologized to. Any respect I had for "Government" disappeared overnight and I learned a big lesson, never trust major party politicians and governments, and take no notice of their lying rhetoric. I have certainly never voted for the mongrels, the thought of doing that makes me puke.

The stupid antics they went on with, like kids fighting in the school yard. The Queen should have sacked the lot, but the trouble with women in high positions, they can't control men, they're not wired that way, pity.
