I think the Democrats are having their own existential crisis.

All over the place, "socialist" candidates (translation: candidates who want to represent real people, not whoever pays the most) are winning elections - against the wishes of the DNC.

So the traditional reps, who want the bribes, er, sorry, "donations" to keep rolling in, are shitting themselves.
