Who supplied Iran with the ballistic missiles?

China has supplied Iran with a modest number of missiles in recent months - but those Chinese shipments have probably been a lot less than Iran lost in the 12 Day War with Israel in June 2025.

It's reported that Iran had reserves of around 2500 missiles before the 12 Day War, but lost around 1000 of them to war use and damage from Israeli strikes. There are reports the Iranian missile stockpile has returned to something like 2000 missiles.

Sending those missiles off at a decent rate will reduce their stockpile, as they couldn't build them as fast as they fire them off, in a decent punch-up.

However, Iran still has a dangerous number of major missile-building facilities, and a refined missile-building capacity, with a number of hardened underground manufacturing facilities.

The bottom line is that Iran is dependent on raw supplies of dual-use electronics, sodium perchlorate for rocket fuel, and more than likely, goodly amounts of steel for missile casings - and China is their major and eager supplier.

There are agreements in place to keep the missile raw materials flowing from China, but whether they will continue with an Iranian administration and military forces in some level of disarray, remains to be seen.

China is accepting payment for all this military support in Iranian crude. Iran is in a bit of a bind as regards blocking the Straits of Hormuz for lengthy periods, because it needs the Straits open to be able to ship crude to China and the rest of the world.

Iran will try to seriously disrupt international shipping in the Straits, mainly to drive up oil prices, and make the American war effort more costly to them, and to try and disrupt the U.S. economy by sharply increased oil prices. Of course, sharply increased oil prices only benefit Iran, when it comes to oil income.

2. If you have seen any vision of teh people of Iran celebrating in the streets over the weekend, did you notice that there were no women to be seen?

Not in the footage I saw, there were heaps of women and very few wearing head coverings. But that was footage taken by citizens and posted on social media, so it might have been from a prodominately anti-government suburb and maybe not representative of what you see in other areas.

Trump was addressing a crowd in the White House when he turned and said "Don't you love these gold drapes?  I chose them." Then he went on to say that Melania isn't keen on the ballroom, she doesn't like the noise. Meanwhile she sat in a chair marked President USA, addressing the United Nations.

He was supposed to be conveying his condolences to the families of the military just killed in the Middle East. A trending meme is taken from Shrek

Gavin Newsome was being interviewed recently by Alastair Campbell and Rory Stewart. He recounted being in a meeting with Trump and Jarrad Kushner when Trump said Ivanka should have married Tom Brady. It was an interesting interview, worth watching:

Craig Hamilton-Parker, a psychic known as the “Prophet of Doom” and hailed by some as the “new Nostradamus,” has issued a series of startling predictions for 2026.

Parker, whose previous forecasts included the Queen’s death and the Covid-19 pandemic, has built a global following for his detailed visions of political, environmental, and social upheaval.

A third term for Donald Trump

One viewer on Parker's YouTube channel recently asked him about the possibility of Donald Trump seeking a third or even fourth term. Parker, who first predicted this during Trump’s second term, warned that the next U.S. election could coincide with global crises that might make standard constitutional processes impossible.

“To reiterate what I said at the time, I felt there would be some big global conflict, possibly involving Taiwan,” Parker explained. “Looking at it now, it could be any global conflict. I know a lot of people have criticised this, saying you cannot have a third term because it is written in the Constitution—but who knows? Things have changed so much in the world.”

He cited recent international developments to illustrate how unlikely scenarios have become reality. “Who would have imagined the possibility of invading Greenland, or kidnapping a country’s leader, as has happened in Venezuela? The world is changing rapidly,” he said.

Parker predicts that emergency powers could be invoked in 2026, potentially allowing Trump to remain in office if the global situation is deemed too dangerous for a standard election. “Something will occur that overturns the existing rules, and that period will be a time of great conflict,” he said.

He also drew on the Nadi oracles from India, which he has studied for years. According to Parker, these ancient readings suggest an alignment between China and Russia against the United States—a scenario he first foresaw in 2015. “At the time, it seemed impossible because they were certainly not friendly,” Parker said. “Yet I saw them joining together in conflict with the USA. So could that be what I’m seeing now? Or could it involve Iran instead? My feeling is that around that period, we will see many conflicts emerging in 2026.”

That's what's good about Australia. We managed to conduct elections in 1914, 1917, 1940 and 1943 during world-wide wars. We even held elections during the era of the Vietnam war.

Doesn't seem like much of a prophet. He allows himself plenty of wriggle room to adjust his prophesies to match what actually happens.
