red750 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 You have to become a "no I won't" kind of person. I go to the mall thinking 'I'LL get an iced doughnut", then I see the price and think "No I won't". I went to a shop specialising in cables and accessories for mobile phones. I was thinking of getting a tripod clamp to hold the phone to scan documents and photograph small objects. Then I thought, no, a flat piece of timber supported above the document/object, with the phone placed so the lens is just over the edge will do the job for free. The same goes for just about everything. "No I won't". It amazes me the number of times you see things like "The household item on sale at Kmart that Australians are losing it over". Mostly crap that no-one needs. 1 1
facthunter Posted January 24 Posted January 24 The Gillet Razor was designed to use a Flexing blade. Cheap and able to be sharpened in a "glass thing",. Not like the Fast blunting throwaway things you buy now. Nev 1

It means they sell you something that contains components or contents that are only available from their company, so you have no option but to keep going back to that company for parts, service or support. That's why printers are cheap and replacement ink cartridges are expensive. 1
red750 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 There was one of those ads on the web today - The $29 Kmart item Aussies are losing it over. It was a pole you could hang pot plants from. 1
facthunter Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Leggo is a good example. You just HAVE to get More. Nev 1

And people wonder whty the protest parties such as One Nation and Reform in the UK are breaking ground.. And why Chump gets elected a second time after a disastrous first round. 1
red750 Posted Tuesday at 12:39 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:39 AM Litespeed, you should know better than to criticize Labor. They never make a mistake. 1
facthunter Posted Tuesday at 12:52 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:52 AM Poor comment from a MODERATOR. Cut it OUT. YOU set a BAD example. The subject needs to be delved into a bit deeper. Nev 1
red750 Posted Tuesday at 01:08 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:08 AM No worse than you. I'm entitled to my opinion just as you are. Keep your opinions to yourself and I'll do the same. 1
facthunter Posted Tuesday at 01:39 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:39 AM You make personal attacks. Mine are nearly always in response to yours. Your "show" is going extinct, right now. That's not good. , There's been plenty of Labor People I didn't like, and I HAVE voted Liberal. I'm prepared to give credit where it's due . Nev
old man emu Posted Tuesday at 01:56 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:56 AM OK, you two. We know that you each sit on the otehr side of the fence. We accept that. What is not acceptable is personal attacks. Please play the ball and not the man. 1 2
red750 Posted Tuesday at 02:18 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:18 AM I'm happy to, if Nev stops attacking me.

Jerry_Atrick Posted Tuesday at 10:08 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:08 PM (edited) ? So, the ABC news article is BS and Albo (with Doofus) didn't set up the NACC? If you're trying to say this is an "I told you so moment", yeah it could be construed as such. If you think I feel good about it, you're quite mistaken. If you're willing to ignore the little fella having enough of grift, then don't be surprised they do a protest vote.. Edited Tuesday at 10:10 PM by Jerry_Atrick 1
facthunter Posted Tuesday at 10:40 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:40 PM The People going to PHON are NOT Labor. Most of your comments on Australian Politics make no sense to me. They don't seem to accord with what is happening HERE. Not that THAT is easy to find out. Murdock sees to that. Nev 1
Jerry_Atrick Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Labor has had a small drop in the polls. Yes., these are not elections. I am guessing they are more likely to gravitate to the Greens than PHON. But, you don't want it to get to the point where Labor voters start gravitating to PHON as they are sick of being forgotten. It happened here.. Labour shoud learn from it. 1

facthunter Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago The real problem is the negative BEHAVIOUR of the NP. They used to represent haystacks. Now they represent Coal Mine Owners and Fracking Gas. Nev 1
Grumpy Old Nasho Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago The major parties are past their use-by date, their ideological psyches are exhausted and.. irrelevant going forward. They are still fighting like cats and dogs breaching hate speech laws. Nothing about those dinosaur parties makes sense anymore. They are demented, irrational, and with no sense of Aussie "brotherhood". They give money away like it's confetti. The Taliban got $50mil. Muslims in OZ got $27mil. Stolen generations are getting millions in compensation, but conscripts are getting nothing. Trump made idiots of school boys Albanese and Kevin Rudd. 15 Jews shot dead by muslims and idiot Albanese blamed the far right, there's something very twisted about Albanese's brain, it's not quite all there. More idiocy from the major parties yet to come, be ready for it. 1
facthunter Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago That Statement says More about YOU than the matters you address. I suppose you will vote PHON? Noney the Red Witch, Loves Trump. She and The Glorious GINA were Guests at More A Leggo. Trump calls Servicemen "Suckers and Losers". and got a doctor to say He has a crook foot to get out of serving. Trump is doing a good job of Making himself look like an idiot and is getting desperate about the Mid term elections. Nev 1
Marty_d Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) @Grumpy Old Nasho - how do you think your god-king Chump would treat conscripts? This is the man who put Hegseth in charge of defence, sorry "War" - a man rejected from the military for being psychologically unsound, who told the army chiefs to "get rid of fatties", ordered the illegal killing of Venezuelan sailors - including ordering the Navy to kill them after their boat was destroyed - and then dumped responsibility on the admiral. You really have no idea how good we have it here. Yes we can always push for improvement but wanting to tear down our political system because you disagree with a few decisions is just insane. Grumpy Old Nasho Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago One Nation is picking up in the polls - why do you think that is?
