red750 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago British singer Chris Rea, best known for the 1980s festive hit Driving Home for Christmas, has died at the age of 74. "Singer/songwriter and guitarist Chris Rea passed away earlier today in hospital following a short illness," his family said in a statement. One of my favourite songs : Chris has spoken about his health issues in the past. He said that he had an abscess on his colon so he had to have a colostomy bag. He also said that they took away his pancreas, the duodenum, the gall bladder and the left quadrant of the liver. Chris was also Type 1 Diabetic which meant that he had to take 34 pills every day. 1
