Who's the `we' in this, and where do you get the idea that people with left wing views `hate' Australia? That's the kind of stuff that Trump and his cohort say to whip up anger among their supporters. I don't believe that anyone on this forum hates Australia, no matter what their views are. 1 2 1
Popular Post facthunter Posted Saturday at 05:52 AM Popular Post Posted Saturday at 05:52 AM It's outrageously and irresponsibly offensive to suggest anyone here Hates Australia. What's left wing views? Letting the ordinary people have a fair go? Nev 2 2 1
Siso Posted Saturday at 10:32 PM Posted Saturday at 10:32 PM Its not the ordinary people that is the problem, it is the numbers. We dont have enough affordable housing now. My daughter says that the amount of immigration is not a problem. Says my partner who is a 20 plus year immigrant who agrees about the numbers is shutting the gate behind her. Next thing she is upset that she cant get a house. She also went to university so I would have thought she could do basic maths! I have a bit of a problem with multiculturism . In the 90s? there was a soccer gam in Melbourne? between a Serbian and Croation based team and they ended up having a riot afterwards because of issues that were happening overseas. If these people come they should leave this stuff at home., 2 1
facthunter Posted Sunday at 12:19 AM Posted Sunday at 12:19 AM Serbs and Croats are famous for that .They had a bloody war. The English football fans in Europe are NOT a class act either. Nev 1
Siso Posted Sunday at 10:08 PM Posted Sunday at 10:08 PM That's exactly right, first that I had ever heard of it being done at after a sporting event in Australia and that is the point. Previously we had a few fists thrown at the match in the crowd. If you come here, leave your Sh#t from where you come from! Especially over the result of a sporting event. 1 1

facthunter Posted yesterday at 02:53 AM Posted yesterday at 02:53 AM It IS PART of the story and in using Serb/Croat situation as your example, you have the Most extreme circumstances where they had had a very nasty Psychological and murderous War in living memory of a lot of the Population. Nev 1
randomx Posted yesterday at 02:55 AM Posted yesterday at 02:55 AM Plenty of immigrants hate Australia, even despise it later on, and us. Another one living under a rock. 1

Hate is a very strong word that I think would apply to very few. I've never met anyone who said they hate or despise Australia. Have you? Those that genuinely do would very likely feel the same about their home country, or any other country for that matter. They are also free to leave if they want to. Even lots of immigrants from the UK couldn't decide whether they liked Australia or not and kept coming and going for years. 1 1
onetrack Posted yesterday at 03:10 AM Posted yesterday at 03:10 AM Quote Plenty of immigrants hate Australia, even despise it later on, and us That's a typical, wide-ranging statement that has no facts to back it up. "Plenty" is a generic number that implies a substantial quantity. I don't believe that it's true that "plenty" of immigrants "hate Australia", that is typical Pauline Hanson sh*t-stirring talk. What we need to actually do, is identify those immigrants who are failing to become useful Australian citizens, and who are here only to devise criminal means of acquiring wealth, and to arrange deportation of same. 1 1
facthunter Posted yesterday at 03:54 AM Posted yesterday at 03:54 AM What about the NAZI-copying extreme right wing stirrers? Are they acceptable? P Hanson uses and stirs raced Based Hate to get support. That's a Pretty $#!t Modus operandi. and it's worked for her for 30 years. she just changes her Target race now and again. She seems hardly able to Put 6 half a dozen words together. How could SHE represent Us as Leader on the World stage and not appear ridiculous, and an embarrassment just as Trump is (only worse) What is Her level of education . Most people in Parliament these days have some Tertiary qualifications. And don't call ME a snob. I hate them. I believe Australia should become a Republic sooner than Later. Nev 1

I don't! 1
Siso Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I don't believe a tertiary education necisarily makes a good politician. I would say the mob we have had for the last 20 years (both sides) are mostly tetiary educated and they are the worst I can remember. It would be good to have some successful business people in instead of lawyers. -not large corporate business people,

facthunter Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Don't make a virtue out of Ignorance, Siso. Pauline hasn't got what it takes. It should take more than racial hatred to lead a Country. She attracts other LOSERS to Her and is JUST Murdoch and Gina's puppet., and will do what THEY want. Nev
pmccarthy Posted 28 minutes ago Posted 28 minutes ago Pauline has been more enduring as a politician and a leader than just about every other politician in Australia. She must be doing something right.
