Maybe I shot myself in the foot, but I've had fun playing with this guy. A lot of these type quizzes come up on Facebook. Find the number other than 80. In some of them there may be 15 rows and 15 columns. Often there are more than one odd number. Many people, including me, post their answer in the comments. I did that recently, and got this personal message: I asked what was involved in nclaiming, and he requested where I come from, my full name and phone number.I gave my suburb but not the street address. He sent these photos. If you enlarge, you will see on the bottom row a photo of a right hand drive Range Rover. He then said, go to FedEx on WhatsApp and complete the delivery forms. I said I don't have the WhatsApp on my phone so he said he would organise the forms and told me to wait. The next message said: I replied to which he replied That's the last I heard. Maybe he was genuine, who knows. I don't need a Range Rover. US$70,000 would have been handy, but could all have been a hoax. I had fun stringing him along. I'll take my chances with Powerball.

Looks like she just received heartbreaking news.

Wikipedia provides a lot of the data (not all) which is used in the aircraft profiles. There are a number of other aviation databases, as well as manufacterers websites which are referenced.

Did you know a few military pilots have shot themselves down? https://www.popularmechanics.com/military/aviation/a27967/the-fighter-plane-that-shot-itself-down/ https://nationalinterest.org/blog/reboot/f-14-tomcat-fighter-did-impossible-it-shot-itself-down-210068 https://www.popularmechanics.com/military/aviation/a27078461/dutch-f-16-flew-into-its-own-gunfire/

Watch Penn and Teller. They always say diversion is how illusionists play their slight of hand. "Look over there while I slip something up my sleeve."

Thanks OT. I was only going on what I was told by our Shed Manager/Co-ordinator, who is employed by the community health service that runs our Shed, and as I said in the OP, has just been in hospital with kidney stones. He said he was told not to use BUPA. My fund is a member of AHSA.

Here is a list of the Victorian private hospitals where you can no longer claim benefits from your health insurance company. Other states have simalar or smaller lists. Thr change takes effect from midnight, 3rd March. I have used Knox Private Hospital for a number of treatment, because that is where my specialists operate. My pacemaker was inserted there, and it's battery replaced 9 years later. It is only 5 km down the road, and my cardiologist, urologist and surgeon operate from there. Ringwood Private Hospital is where my wife received her radiation and chemotherapy treatment for cancer. Other private hospitals in the area are not much more than doctors surgeries and don't have emergency departments. Public hospitals are overloaded to the gills with enormous waiting times.Box Hill Hospital is 15 km. away. Healhscope private hospitals in Victoria.

Reawakening an old thread. How many of you have received notification that from March, you will not be covered for hospital insurance? Canadian company Healthscope, who operate a vast number of private hospitals in Australia, particularly in Victoria, have cancelled their arrangements with health insurance companies, and hospital costs will be out-of-pocket expenses. I thought it was just my health insurance, but on resumption of the Men's Shed today, we discovered that it covers many health insurance companies. Our co-ordinator, who has just been through kidney stone treatment, said he would have been up for a few thousand. He heard that Healthscope has done this to increase their profit and line the pockets of their investors.

After having some problems with my laptop, I have been thinking about getting a new one, and when Aldi had a special of a 14" Lenovo with Win11 and Microsoft 365 1 year licence for $299, it seemed too good a bargain to pass by. However I had a couple of problems during the setup, all sorted now. When setting the keyboard options, I couldn't get it to swich from English (America) to English (Australia). I thought, well, it can't be too different, but when I tried to enter an email address to access the Microsoft account, it wouldn't enter the @ symbol, instead entering " . So I tried typing " , and voila, the @ appeared. Then I typed Shift3 and instead of hash, I got the English pound symbol (£). I went into Systems and turned on the onscreen keyboard, where I found that # was on a key that didn't exist on the physical keyboard. It was located to the right of the ] key. I went back to Systems and looked at the language options, and decided to install English (New Zealand). Once that downloaded and installed, I was able to select English (Australia), the keys reverted to their usual functions. Then I went to instal some of my favourite programs/apps. It said the system was in S mode and I couldn't download from outside the Microsoft shop. I had to turn off S mode, but was warned once turned off, it couldn't be turned back on. Stuff MS, I turned it off and downloaded my favourite apps. A rather surreal experience.

Old joke..... A 70 yo guy goes into a bottle shop to buy a bottle of Scotch. The salesman asks for proof of age. The old man says "Don't I look old enough to drink?" The salesman replies, "I am just checking if you qualify for seniors discount."

I see where Musk is backpedalling on his DOGE savings, saying that the target of $2bn was optimistic, they'll aim for $1 bn to start with and keep $2 bn as the ultimate target.
