Even well known names are mispronounced by tourists, particularly Yanks. Melbourne = Mel borrrn, Brisbane = Brisbain.

The spaces are larger so they can put the prams between cars without scratching, and room to remove the kids from the baby capsules/seats.

I am unsteady standing on a flat floor, so even using a step stool to change a lightbulb is dangerous for me. I get my son to do it. And I don't have the strength in my knees to climb a ladder, stairs are tough enough.

Late last year I was booked for doing 45 in an 80 zone at 2:40 pm because the school zone operated from 2:30 pm, when the limit dropped to 40. It was on a road I don't normally use and was unaware of the school zone. My watch is one where you have to press the button to activate the display for 20 seconds, and touching an electronic device, including a watch, while driving, is a finable offence. I didn't realise it was after 2:30. Schools don't get out until 3:15. My daughter is a school crossing supervisor, and doesn't leave home till after 3:00.

Good point Spacey. My left ear was pretty poor before the shingles. It will probably truly dead after. My right ear is not good, but I can hear the TV clearly with Bluetooth in my hearing aid. The problem is I have to take the aid out to hear anyone talking to me, or mute the Bluetooth.

Lots of rain around our area, guttering overflowing, but fortunately we are 2/3 of the way up a hill, so it runs off quickly. Too many homes built on floodplains, like those in Queensland where they woke up in the middle of the night, knee deep in water, for the second time in 18 months. Just finished repairing their houses.

Apparently, these activites which exercise your mind, like the hidden errors, differences, or objects in pictures, help to ward off dementia. Plenty of brain exercise.

My point Nev, was that I hadn't realised that Hogan's Heroes was made more than 50 years ago. Just made me feel really old.

This will make you feel old, it did me. John Banner, who played Sgt Schultz in Hogan's Heroes, died 51 years ago, 28 January, 1973. I had no idea it was that long ago. He was 63.
