    I believe the ' newer diesel motors are more economical ( V8 ) than the old four cylinder engine. According to my daughters V8 Toyota Cruiser . Can get to 8.5 LPG 100 . My 1998 Mitsubishi , 2.8 litre turbo gets 12.5 at best . But . A V8 Chevy, with it's " turn- off " cylinders can beat almost all of them . spacesailor

    I see the " woke " people are trying to change the mame of " Settlers walk " . New signs erected, " great West walk " . From local history, the walk was from Parramatta ( 2nd settlement) To " government farm Toongabbie "( 3rd settlement ) . Soon we will have to call Parra .     IT'S SO GREAT . For family's to ' see ' each other, when distance separates them. But the rate of ageing is frightening. Babies soon start preschool. & quickly become teenagers. spacesailor

    Doesn't that depend on what the viewer enjoys . Some people would like a ' Full HD ' OPERA. But , to me thats technology wasted . Guitar music or ' Chapman stick ' is easier on the ear . Documentaries are good . And so the choice of the public is ?. spacesailor

    In the UK those war surplus ' Harley ' bikes .didn't get bought, Lots were just scrap iron , but BSA, & Indian. Were sought after. 1937 BSA 250 Empire Star . Indian Chief, Brave , Squaw. I picked up. Not knowing how those prices would ' sky-rocket In the 60s & 70s . Now you can't buy one cheaper than a house . spacesailor

    I did think of keeping my 1998 Delica , awhile longer to go onto that register. But Not if it stops it being a ' mode of transport ' . I'm not driving as many Ks as when I was younger, The fuel price has taken the " joy of motoring " away . LoL spacesailor

    Iodine in salt !. It wasn't all salt that was doctored, and it was my home town that had " Derbyshire neck " ( Goitre) . The side effects of the extra Iodine was reduced " Adams Apple " And ' youthful Appearance ' . which you may think ! . GREAT . My grandson has just been told to produce ID to buy smokes .     In the ' North-sea ' . You welded inside the pipe . If it past inspection, the outside was then ' welded '. Big guys, were at a big disadvantage welding inside, with no room to turn around. Or get that next rod . I haven't used. My welder since breaking my arm. But Increased my weight lift to 5 reps X 2kgms exercise. spaceailor

    Same here . I thought ' welding ' money for jam . So easy & big money 💰. I was asked to go " Northsea Gas " pipe welding. Because I was that skinny, It didn't happen . spacesailor
