    Yes ! . I took my neighbours kids to see their first possum . The following morning , I took a plastic bag to put it in the bin . But , I had been beaten by the next door kids taking 'their' parents ! Who bin'd the victim . spacesailor

    My daughter is not connected to the internet. but is still on a " smart metre " in her " state " house . Was on telstra internet . But disconnected for NBN that was not put to the ' estate ' . She occasionally checks it , using my computer. But , yes , very high tariffs for the ' houseo's ' . spacesailor

    What do people expect ! . When we are still coming out of an " ice age " . No comparisons of the temperatures or humidity, of pre-ice age era .     This morning . When the supplier ' ups ' their prices by putting you ( without informing you ). Onto a plan that has exceptionally high tariffs. How long , before you twig their scheme to rip you off . You ' then ' have to apply for a different plan . To lower your cost . All suppliers should have the cents per KW H . In a prominent position on ' your ' statement . spacesailor PS. : Don't forget , you don't get a ' paper ' receipt to browse.

    I agree with your thoughts of disposing of the accumulated ' nicnacks' that have so many childhood memories. When my mother passed , I held her possessions for a couple of years , just could not bring myself to let them go . Now my wife does not want me to ' spend the kids inheritance '. LoL spacesailor

    Well over twenty years , I hung the bikes up , out of the way . Rotary clothhoist. But if I had a bad fall there would be no help coming. Two hours later ny legs & hip gave me " what-for " . And I had to sit for a while . I will try again . silly fool me . spacesailor
