kgwilson Posted Monday at 12:23 PM Posted Monday at 12:23 PM Like Jerry I spent time in the US on business in the 80s & 90s & had very similar experiences. Entry was super simple and customs were friendly & accommodating. Met lots of very nice people & also some super pig ignorant ones. Heard gunfire most nights in LA but was never really concerned. I have no desire to return now though. Of about 200 countries it is about 190 on the list just above North Korea, Israel, Russia, Iran and a few others. 1
onetrack Posted Monday at 12:28 PM Posted Monday at 12:28 PM What's not mentioned in those MSN articles that Red750 linked to, is that North Korea has promised to send another 25,000 to 30,000 of its troops to assist Putin. That is a major escalation of the Ukraine War, not any effort to back down. I would hope someone in the U.S. Defence Dept has whispered in Trumps ear, that he needs to do something concrete about stopping Putin - and that concrete move is getting more weaponry to Ukraine. So much for his laughable BS about stopping the Ukraine War in one day, once he was re-elected. I would've expected to have seen people throwing that in his face, but no, the silence is deafening. 2 1

facthunter Posted yesterday at 01:41 AM Posted yesterday at 01:41 AM About 1/2 the previous NK troops sent to Russia are dead. Their MUMs won't be happy. Nev 1 1

old man emu Posted yesterday at 02:35 AM Author Posted yesterday at 02:35 AM Net-in-Yahoo has written to the Nobel Peace Prize committee nominated Trump for the Peace award. Was it seconded by Putin? 2
Marty_d Posted yesterday at 02:50 AM Posted yesterday at 02:50 AM Those thousands of dead NK and Russian soldiers were just people doing their job. Imagine the lives saved if their despotic leaders were killed instead. 1 2

onetrack Posted yesterday at 05:50 AM Posted yesterday at 05:50 AM Ooooh, Musk's money, financing the America Party, is perhaps going to outclass Trumps MAGA money? It's going to become known as the Battle of the Big Monies! 😄 1

nomadpete Posted yesterday at 10:09 AM Posted yesterday at 10:09 AM Considering the disparity of wealth between Musk & Donny, I would think that pssin orf Musk is not a great move. In spite of all their numerous childish behaviours, the wealthiest will win.... if he doesn't wake up tomorrow with a new brainwave, and go off on a new project. 1 1
onetrack Posted yesterday at 10:54 AM Posted yesterday at 10:54 AM American elections are all about gathering up the biggest number of well-heeled contributors to your party and massaging their egos with lots of promises. While Musk has the worlds biggest personal fortune, whether he can garner the money support from backers, that Trump has, remains to be seen. 1
Litespeed Posted yesterday at 11:22 AM Posted yesterday at 11:22 AM He doesn't need support, if he needs to spend a billion or more campaigning he will use petty cash. 1 2 1
