rgmwa Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Just to show again what a disgusting POS Trump is: Donald Trump shared a conspiracy theory about Joe Biden on Saturday(AFP) President Donald Trump shared a post on Truth Social late Saturday night claiming his predecessor, Joe Biden, was ‘executed’ in 2020 and replaced by a clone. The 78-year-old posted a link on his page without any explanation. The original post, shared by a Trump follower, read: “There is no #JoeBiden - executed in 2020. #Biden clones doubles & robotic engineered soulless mindless entities are what you see. Democrats don't know the difference.” Trump's post comes a day after he said people should not ‘feel bad’ about Joe Biden, further adding that the Democrat is a ‘somewhat vicious person’. “If you feel sorry for him, don’t feel sorry for him, because he’s vicious.” Biden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. Speaking at an Oval Office press conference on Friday, Trump said ‘what [Biden] did with his political opponent and all of the people that he hurt’ while arguing that his predessesor had ‘hurt a lot of people’. “[Biden’s] been a sort of moderate person over his lifetime. Not a smart person, but a somewhat vicious person, I will say. If you feel sorry for him, don't feel so sorry, because he's vicious. What he did with his political opponent and all of the people that he hurt—he hurt a lot of people, Biden, so I really don't feel sorry for him.” 2 1
old man emu Posted Sunday at 10:33 PM Author Posted Sunday at 10:33 PM Trump has directed his Secretary of the Treasury to order the cessation of the production of one cent coins. For once, that is a financially sound decision as it costs the US Mint 3.6 cents to make a one cent coin. If they don't mint them they will save something in the order of $80 million per year. It is said that there are about 250 million one cent coins sitting in jars and piggy banks. The problem that the Yanks will face is that now the price at the cash register will have to be rounded to the nearest five cents, as we have been doing for ages. The need for one cent coins is a result of the weird way they apply sales taxes. There are local government sales taxes, State sales taxes and Federal sales taxes. Of course your average Yank won't understand that overall they will lose nothing (swings and roundabouts), but I bet you can already hear the cries of loss of liberty and erosion of Rights. 1 1 1

red750 Posted Monday at 01:54 PM Posted Monday at 01:54 PM President Donald Trump plans to travel to Fort Knox, Kentucky, to ensure that the stockpile of gold that has long been reported to be stored at the military base is there. “We’re gonna go into Fort Knox to make sure the gold is there,” Trump said. 1

kgwilson Posted Monday at 10:40 PM Posted Monday at 10:40 PM One of the most annoying things about buying stuff from stores in the US is that you never pay the advertised price. When I arrived in New Orleans for a conference after over 20 hours travelling, I decided to buy a 6 pack of beer as the mini bar prices in the Hotel were outlandish. I bought a 6 pack & there were 4 separate taxes added on. It's a long time ago but I remember one was for a local school. The beer was also awful. 1 1 2
onetrack Posted Tuesday at 01:39 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:39 AM The most revealing term the Americans use, is "nickel and dime ya". In other words, in any other country, the price is all-inclusive. In America, there are constant "extras" that keep adding to the cost of the item or service. Tipping is just one of them, small taxes and extra charges for services that are included elsewhere are the American norm. Mind you, we're heading the same way, too. Airlines and accommodation are top of the list, followed by card surcharges. We just bought air tickets for a trip from Perth to Broome next month and there was a total of nearly $100 in additional charges to the base fare. Two lots of security charges, card charges, two lots of GST, etc, etc. One of the interesting parts is you can only see all the charges when the "payment" page is presented to you. Once you pay for the booking, there's no no way to see those individual charges again. 1
red750 Posted Tuesday at 10:30 AM Posted Tuesday at 10:30 AM Trump is reported to have offered the Canadian Prime Minister that Canada would be covered by his missile shield free of charge if Canada becomes the 51st state. red750 Posted Tuesday at 11:06 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:06 AM "I told Canada, which very much wants to be part of our fabulous Golden Dome System, that it will cost $61 Billion Dollars if they remain a separate, but unequal, Nation, but will cost ZERO DOLLARS if they become our cherished 51st State. They are considering the offer!" Trump wrote on Truth Social on Tuesday evening. 3 1
kgwilson Posted Tuesday at 11:55 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:55 AM Canada isn't a threat to anyone except Trumps America. If they stopped supplying cars and car parts, oil, electricity, minerals etc Trump would have to get everything from elsewhere at higher costs plus his tariffs as they don't have everything there anyway. 1 2

nomadpete Posted yesterday at 03:55 AM Posted yesterday at 03:55 AM Don't get too excited. They'll kiss and make up as soon as there is a mutual buck to be made. They are both that shallow. 2
rgmwa Posted yesterday at 04:08 AM Posted yesterday at 04:08 AM I totally agree. They are like third rate child actors in a soap opera that has real world consequences unfortunately. Before Trump, it would have been inconceivable that the US President would publicly get involved in personal verbal spats with the world watching on in real time. It just shows how much damage Trump has done to the generally respected Office of the Presidency itself. He has brought it down to the level of a reality TV show. 1
red750 Posted yesterday at 05:42 AM Posted yesterday at 05:42 AM With Musk saying that the Epstein files haven't been released because Trump is in them, and Trumps magnificent big bill removing EV subsidies, it might not end so easily. 1
