Donald Trump orders reopening of notorious Alcatraz prison and reveals who will be sent there

 

Donald Trump took to Truth Social to announce why he wanted to reopen the famous prison.

 

Donald Trump has repeatedly insisted that he wants to be tough on crime and criminals, and on May 4, he announced the next step in this plan.

 

He insisted that he was going to be reopening the infamous San Francisco prison Alcatraz.

 

Writing on Truth Social, he said: “REBUILD, AND OPEN ALCATRAZ! For too long, America has been plagued by vicious, violent, and repeat Criminal Offenders, the dregs of society, who will never contribute anything other than Misery and Suffering.”

 

Trump also explained what types of prisoners he would send to Alcatraz if the prison was to reopen.

 

He continued: “When we were a more serious Nation, in times past, we did not hesitate to lock up the most dangerous criminals, and keep them far away from anyone they could harm. That’s the way it’s supposed to be.

 

“No longer will we tolerate these Serial Offenders who spread filth, bloodshed, and mayhem on our streets.”

 

It is not clear how long it would take to reopen Alcatraz prison, or how much of a priority this remains to Trump, but he did explain the steps he is taking to get this plan underway.

 

He added: “That is why, today, I am directing the Bureau of Prisons, together with the Department of Justice, FBI, and Homeland Security, to reopen a substantially enlarged and rebuilt ALCATRAZ, to house America’s most ruthless and violent Offenders.

 

“We will no longer be held hostage to criminals, thugs, and Judges that are afraid to do their job and allow us to remove criminals, who came into our Country illegally. The reopening of ALCATRAZ will serve as a symbol of Law, Order, and JUSTICE. We will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

It was closed years ago because it was uneconomic to keep it open. Everything needed to run it has to be transported across the bay. Not that Trump would have considered that. All he’s thinking is “I’m the famous guy who reopened Alcatraz!”

It is not often that US commentators say anything about the smaller countries like Australia. However, publicity is now being given to the result of our recent election with a bit of an emphasis on comparing Albo and Dutton. Much is being made of Dutton's earlier MAGA mania, and his lauding of Trump and his policies and how that was a big factor in Dutton's defeat.

That is the US movie industry. We are starved for movies from other countries. The English, with their long theatrical history produce movies with stories that do not require violence. Even if violence is needed in the plot, actual depiction of it is muted, or simply implied. 

 

Australia's problem is that we allowed Hollywood to take control of the distribution of movies in the first half of the 20th Century. By gaining that control, Hollywood stifled both our own industry, and access to other English-language producers. It really wasn't until the 1970s when that political ogre, Whitlam, gave government support to the movie industry that it began it growth to what it is today. Now we have Fox Studios in Sydney and Warner Bros in Movie World in Queensland. The social pages of our newspapers often inform us of the presence of some international movie star who is here to make a movie.

 

Once again it is clear the the Hollywood bean counters decided that the bottom line would be enhanced by moving production out of the USA. Now it is too expensive to produce any type of motion picture entertainment in the USA.

The deal to buy the Qatari 747 hasn't actually been put in place. The biggest problem (for the Big Orange Baby Tantrum Thrower), is that by the time the selected company modifies the Qatari 747 to meet the Presidential aircraft requirements, the new one being built by Boeing will be ready.

 

Of course, the simple answer for Donny is to ensure he gets a 3rd term, so he can take delivery of his new Presidential transport - that probably is being held up, because of the constant Presidential demands for more and more gold plating.

Trump’s envoy to Russia, Steve Witkoff has had three meetings with Putin so far, but instead of taking his own interpreter he has relied on the Kremlin’s interpreters in his negotiations. Putin must wonder what kind of a clown he is dealing with.

In other videos, prisoners shackled and dressed as shown in the video have their cut with what looks like a no. 1 comb on the clippers leaving them all virtually nald.
