Sorry, Nev.. Another one to sadly announce..

Ozzy Osbourne, of Black Sabbath fame, died aged 76..

I can't say I was a great fan of a man who bites the head of a bat off on stage.. and his other antics, but Paranoid is a great song.

Poor old Ozzie. Although 4 years younger than me, he looked a lot older. I have been watching a series called The Osbourmes Want to Believe,  in which his son Jack Osbourne plays video clips of supernatural and unexplained occurrences, such as furniture moving by itself, ghost-like shadows of people walking down the street, and strange lights moving in the night sky, and his parents Ozzie and Sharon comment on whether they think they are real or fake. It was hard to understand what Ozzie was saying, his words were so slurred and peppered with bleeps.

He's done some rippers.  Also love "Crazy Train" - brilliant song.

Good opinion piece in the Guardian today giving his history and his effect on Metal.
