I found out my fitness has drastically dropped when in NZ early in the month. I went up mount Manganui with my uncle who is 18 years my senior. We picked the 850m path to climb 283m high. I need more time for exercise. The climb was worth it with spectacular views. Enjoy your trip.

After listening to yank’s conversation on a cruise for the last fortnight, I have learnt they still love the orange f@#kwit to death, have no idea what happens in Australia other than kangaroos, big knives and a bridge with a funny looking building near it. At a dinner table conversation one night someone asked what do you guys hear about Australian politics after a trump conversation was shut down. Answer was nothing. They heard about the big fires a few years ago, but other than that they get no news about us. saddest thing about this is their f#$kup elected causes us no end of pain, and they couldn’t give a flying f#$k.

Isn’t it strange to think we have become so dependent on something we can live quite well without, as we did up until the late 1990’s. telstra created a monster that snuck up on us, made us NEED it, spending up to a couple of hundred dollars a month on. It started with text at .25 cent for a sentence or more, then long text, all these LOL and ROTFLMAO etc, then forums. i know it lets us all get to know each other on platforms like this when we might not have connected in the real world, which is a good thing. But do you ever wonder what you could do with all the money spent on phones, tablets and the internet could have done for you if it didn’t exist. it would probably buy a good little aeroplane, car or boat to enjoy outside. Tik tok, instagram and all these other platforms have created a glut of people who make money of what would basically be sh#t all in the real world, and a lot of it makes people feel more insecure about themselves or like they are missing out on something. I would like to see them have to work for a living like the rest of us “oldies” had to, starting at the bottom and working up the chain. Just an interesting thought that popped into my head after the reading the discussion prior. sorry for drift in advance.

Turns out the picture I took was the new batch this arvo, I found the first one from 2 days ago in pantry, chockers full of bugs, but loosing its stink.

Imagine how much harder this will be now, four years ago they had the Biden administration coming in, now the orange hater is in charge.

That is a strange expression, I have had an invasion of gnats in our kitchen. A quick google search on how to get rid of them gave the answer as Apple cider vinegar in a little dish with some washing up liquid. we tried it, and what do you know it worked. In the first hour they were flocking to it, and drowning quickly. since then we have found the source, a bag of lemons and limes got pushed to back of pantry at Christmas time. A bank that plays a lot of ads on tv for business purposes is not much better than wallet wizard on rates. Think eating cake from a box in office. i bank with them ( and have for 25 years) and needed a boost up to move everything and get going again. Would have to sell my kidneys and take a month of work to do the paperwork. Funny thing is I have around $700k plus in equity on a commercial property that they have the mortgage on, 150 k was too hard for them to look at. they would rather sponsor Mardi Gras, and make sorry statements than do the business of banking.

I can't find a dealer to do my triton which is overdue by almost 3000km now due to them.all being too busy. I still have to get around. I bought oil and a filter and might just go old school and put it on the hoist this week. I don't know what other physical work they do. Most of the service items on bill are inspect and check off only. When the air filter was clogged up at 15000 service they didn't replace it, only mentioned it in notes. I had to do i carport myself before I drove it home.

This old girl could apparently get 25000km between services. Why do our modern cars have to go in every 10000km for petrol and 150000 for diesel according to the manufacturer. Is it a money grab or is the modern motor and tech not as good as the old stuff.

And we worry about poverty stricken call centres calling us.
