Not prejudiced at all, saying as a fact 50 years ago they(gays,lesbians,trans or whatever )did not last ,they were ridiculed and usually left after being subjected to harassment or the "above my pay scale" officers soon found ways to get them out,medical,trumped up charges etc etc, never encountered a gay person then so only hearsay,and don't forget it was at that time a criminal offence to engage in homosexual acts in UK, times have changed all for the good in most cases , I have no real feelings about lgbti people, they don't impact on my life and my argument was about the Brit and Us army and as trey gowdy is right, armed forces are there to wage war, would you like to see your daughter at the blunt end in a war,I would not like to see mine there ,women have the right to serve as does anyone if they have the right stuff, look at the Kurd women fighters they had a very real reason for fighting and by accounts they are good soldiers ,we in the west are not of the same mettle

You have obviously never been in the armed forces, so your comments are way off, Trey Gowdy is spot on about the way the forces select people to serve(except in a ww11 scenario)and if his conservative views are narrow that's his right, from my observations of Australian selection they do admit people of both genders(woman/man)and seem to on the surface accept gay/lesbian recruits ,however they would probably be targeted/ridiculed/ by the forces in general,it has got better for those people but in my time if they were found out they did not stay in for long,there are ways to get them out ,they would have been targeted

i am all for testing but they (the pill popper) should pay for the service , and not take recourses away from cancer research, or any research into medical matters, see how they would run, drugs are a blight we are soft on the sellers and pushers mandatory 20 years for pushers and sellers of the drugs not the soft cock approach of our system, if you use drugs you must take the consequences and bear the costs

You can choose your friends but not your siblings/family, I had a good relationship with my sisters,now they cannot see what they have done wrong and are blaming everyone but themselves, meanwhile have put a hold on mothers bank a/c still some funds there ,they tried to use my mothers atm card but forgot the password/no that's how we came to know about the fraud,so due process by the police meanwhile the order has gone in to council for the seat ,will post pic when it is installed about 3 months they say, and Willedoo stand tall YOU did the right thing by your dad that's what matters,dont let the bxxstards get you down as they who have done the wrong thing will not have the memories you have Cheers and thanks again. Thanks everyone again, she was the glue that held the family together ,sadly that has now changed ,we have just found out that 2 of my sisters have used up most of her money that she had,amongst other things ,so 4 of us have to go through more stress when the police get involved, how does a woman in dementia get a $5000 credit card while she is in care ? and where has the money gone, the bank has a lot to answer for ,I don't hold much hope of recovering the monies ,not that we wanted it ,but it goes to show that some people cannot be trusted,we had enough to pay her funeral expenses that was in a safe that they couldn't open,( but I am good with a grinder) and we got all her jewellery which we have gifted to my mothers great grandkids(girls) we have also had a seat with a plaque for her by the council installed in Elliot Heads.She will always be there in spirit and we all thank her for our life.
