Yes we need more Trad skills and to promote easy pathways into these trades. Generations have been forced into the uni sausage maker to suit capitalism and just end with big debt and less prospects than a steam train builder etc. For Farriers, a good one is worth the price. They are fundamental to the horses health and your safety around them, hoof issues are big in many falls off a horse. A comfy horse is a safe one. My farrier used to also have not just horses to deal with but the huge house goat 🐐 that would want to play about. If you have dogs, get all the toe clippings and they love it. Natures chewing gum.

I reckon the Dumf will end up paying. The ruling is in New York where he is been slammed for fraud. I expect his local assets will be frozen to pay his fraud fines and pay the new libel penalties. He has no real comeback in New York and will eventually get his due but it will take time. All these fighting funds are just shams that will also come back to bite. -
Yes demand has dropped mainly because of reduced demand compared to expectations and stockpiling. Note the grubby buggers are asking for big government bailouts to protect their investments. Once again the miners put bugger all into the economy, won't pay taxes and expect the government to hand over millions to support their poor decisions. Yet again the public pay for corporate losses and windfall profits.

To which I say Fuckwitt, fuckwitt, ...... Argue your case, don't use catchall bullshit or your the same as Trump.

No, it was the term they used at the time, it's not a modern concept at all but a legal nonsense to justify taking possession of the continent from the natives.
-
As an aside , the idea of non agricultural society and of no permanent settlements as an excuse for Terra Nullis was also debunked. Certain tribes had stone and other buildings for permanent settlements. Additionally the oldest permanent agriculture and fish farming systems in the world. To say they did not farm is a outright lie, it just didn't look like English farming . Many of the battles were over native crops been stolen to feed the invaders.

To me the term Woke is used as a insult to anybody that is culturally aware.social aware or environmentally aware. So it should be a compliment but instead is used by the right wing nutters to insult anything they don't understand or don't like. Protest against police unlawfully killing a black citizen, you are woke. Want fair wealth taxes, you are woke. It's all just a catch all term to insult progressive thinkers. The media just lets them spew anti-woke bullshit and they get a free pass.

Loading up future budgets with huge debt and permanent benefits for the rich is the LNP dna. Morrison knew they would not last and spent like a drunken dictator. Now they claim its class warfare and hurting aspirational Aussies. All bullshit offcourse.

We should be taxing share transactions at say 0.5% Currently they do billions of fast transactions using computers doing it in milliseconds and this artificially distorts the market. Sometimes to almost crash the market. This would stabilise markets, reduce panics esp computer driven ones and generate revenue. Additional taxes should be on derivatives etc and hedging against the market. That is just the basic start of tax reform.

Yes it was a scam, to get viking settlers to go there seeking a new home. Greenland was a huge scam and many died from the cold. -
It is irrelevant to say Cook didn't really invade. He did under instructions from the queen take possession but was meant to get agreement and make treaty which he did not . they used force whenever necessary or not and killed any who challenged them. don't forget they even paid bountys to kill the locals. the colony was to replace America which was also invaded under friendly auspices. was Tasmania invaded? They purposely tried to kill every last native on the island. that is total genocide. the argument of Terra nullis was bullshit and they knew at the time.

Bigger, that's bad news. Would you consider a engine swap to solve it all in one hit?
-
This is one of many conversions, lots of different ways to the similar result. Caution they are American so make it seem they are geniuses to make it work.
-
Correction it uses a belt drive in some conversations. 1100 head with 1293cc is big torque and 127 HP at 7000rpm. As yours in rwd the conversion is easier.
-
I assume the 1500 is still the old A series engine? I thought they only went to 1275cc ? As an aside if it is a A series, then you can double the power and triple the reliability and have more revs as well. The solution is a BMW K series 1200 head, they basically for straight on and use a chain drive off the crank to the 16 valve head. These heads are legendary for toughness and huge distances. Lots of modded minis had this done. Results in 120 HP. Minimum and includes great fuel injection. They suit very well as not bike like in extreme revs etc and huge torque at low/med revs. Better economy, huge power and dead reliable. Just a thought.

And the best. Penfolds 707, yes named after the aircraft is the best I have ever tasted. Probably the best my lips will taste in a lifetime. Unless I get filthy rich 🤑 then $800 is a trifle expense. -
Boats are great ways to live but better at spending money. They cost much more when no used or left long periods, just like aircraft. Those who spend the most tend to know the least and have more money than sense. They can actually be money spinners eg yacht doing day trips for tourists. Some are booked 3trips a day 7 days a week. I know one that's done 100 days straight bookings.

Bugger that, I am worried about blisters on my tongue 😛

Exactly I am surrounded by a world renowned RAMSA bird sanctuary and national Park in one of the world's best harbours. I might not be flying but nature shows me everyday. Too see a Sea Eagle fish then roost on the island is priceless. And some of the world's best seafood is only a bit of effort away.

My health's shot, I am poor... But I live on a boat and do what I want. Cheers
