BREAKING: Turmp’s Press Secretary makes a SHOCKING ADMISSION about his “main priority”!

Donald Trump has done a lot of outrageous things in office — but tearing down the East Wing of the White House during a government shutdown to build himself a $300 million ballroom might be his most obscene yet.

While millions of federal workers go unpaid and veterans line up at food banks, Trump’s top priority isn’t reopening the government — it’s adding a golden monument to himself right next to the Oval Office.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt let the mask slip this week when she admitted that “the ballroom is really the president’s main priority.” Not feeding families. Not paying soldiers. Not protecting democracy. A ballroom.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, she also revealed that Trump is interpreting long-held federal planning laws to mean he can “tear down whatever he wants” on the White House grounds — without oversight. When pressed by reporters if that meant Trump could bulldoze national landmarks like the Jefferson Memorial, Leavitt didn’t deny it. She just smirked and said it’s up to him.
Welcome to the Trump era — where the self-proclaimed “builder” treats the People’s House like one of his tacky golf resorts.

Meanwhile, a majority of Americans are furious. A new YouGov poll found that 53% of Americans disapprove of Trump demolishing the East Wing for his pet project, and a full 77% of Democrats say the plans are an outrage. Even among Republicans, cracks are showing — nearly a third disapprove of the destruction. Independents? They’re siding with Democrats. The message is loud and clear: the American people don’t want Trump’s White House makeover.

But Trump, ever the wannabe king, doesn’t care. From his gilded Mar-a-Lago throne, he boasted that the East Wing “wasn’t much,” sneering that “it was never thought of as being much” — as if one of the most iconic parts of the White House was just some cheap casino annex waiting for his “brand upgrade.”

The important thing to do now is to follow the money. Trump claims the project is being paid for “100 percent by me and some friends of mine.” Right. Because nothing says “trustworthy” like a secret donor list tied to a construction project overseen by a man whose businesses have gone bankrupt six times.

It is reported in several places that the demolishing of the East Wing is contrary to a number of regulations etc., including those relating to the preservation of historic structures. Trump has attacked the White House in the same way that Netinyahu hs destroyed Gaza.

There have been calls for Trump to stop the demolision, but what's the point? The damage has been done. If someone put a bullet into Trump, the person coudld reasonably argue that it was not murder, but the application of the spitir of the 2nd Amendment.

Trump has displayed artists' impressions of the interior of the ballroom. I wonder if there are any actual plan drawings for the construction of the building. I mean the sort of plans that show how coponents fit together to make the building and for the routing of power and water.

Given the size of the building, is it possible for it to be constructed within the next three years remaining of Trump's presidency? What happens if he should die, which is something that comes to all of us? Once commenced, the job would have to be carried on to completion, otherwise the national symbolism of the White House will be lost. If the next President is a Democrat, the ballroom will be a millstone around the neck of the next Administration.

Did you know that there was a security bunker under the East Wing, sort of a war room. Has that been demolished?

Its presence was referenced in a reporter's question to Levitt. She said it would be made better.

Of course it would need a lot of cheap glitz to make it better.

Those boats he's blowing up don't have the range to reach the United States so whatever they are carrying, they are not a direct threat to anyone in the USA.

It is thought that at least some of these boats were fishing boats.  GON if some of these people were not drug smugglers, and the ones that were were almost certainly not headed for the USA  (range of these boats not sufficient to reach the USA) do you care if innocents have been blown to pieces?  Undoubtedly, not all of these people blown to pieces were not drug dealers.   Two people survived an attack on what was thought to be a fishing boat. These two were not arrested or tried but sent back to their home country.  It could have been a little embarrassing if they were questioned in court.

Something navies are good at is stopping and boarding boats.   Why not board and search these vessels and arrest and interrogate to gain intelligence about drug networks?   I suspect part of the reason is to appease Trump's moron followers.   Civilised countries do not carry out extrajudicial executions.  Certainly, the military is not comfortable with blowing people out of the water who may or may not be drug smugglers.

On top of that, the US is building up its military off the coast of Venezuela

As well as that, Trump claims that there are CIA agents operating in Venezuela, so much for that Nobel Peace Prize

He's murdering people in small boats with outboard motors without due legal process. That's nothing to the murderous bastard.

Trump’s bulldozers didn’t stop at the East Wing.  Now even the trees are gone. Six of them, including magnolias planted to honor presidents Warren G. Harding and Franklin D. Roosevelt, have been wiped out to make way for his ballroom project.
One of those trees was planted by First Lady Florence Harding back in 1922, another by Roosevelt himself in 1942. Jill Biden’s cherry tree, planted with Japan’s first lady just two years ago, is gone too. Along with them is also The Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, the family theater, and the East Colonnade — all flattened.

News tonight reports he has directed the workd's largest aircraft carrier into the search for these boats which he claims are smugling narcotics without search or proof, and threatening attacks on drug labs in Venezuela, basically, a land attack.

GON, I’ve generally supported liberal, nationals until this last election. My dad was a labor voter, they supported the shearer’s through the unions back in the day with the wide/narrow comb stuff, and being a shearer he stuck with them. I don’t have any faith in the current government or the opposition. There is a major shake up needed to find a real leader who can unite things on the lib/nat front and deliver something good for the country.

With regards to the destruction at the Whitehouse. The orange twat already has a gaudy palace, why does he have to wreck a historic landmark to create another. He should be gone in 2 more years it’s any hope. Then all trace of him should be wiped out.
