old man emu Posted Thursday at 11:02 PM Author Posted Thursday at 11:02 PM Assassination is the willful killing, by a sudden or secret attack, of a person—especially if prominent or important. It may be prompted by political, ideological, religious, financial, or military motives. It appears that Kirk fits the definition as he definitely was a prominent person in the USA who expressed ideological ideas. 1 1
facthunter Posted Thursday at 11:09 PM Posted Thursday at 11:09 PM Criticising Netayahu for what HE does is Justified and NOT antisemetic. No one can demand a BLANK Cheque to do what they want. IDF own database shows 83% of DEATHS are civilians. An "Unparalleled level". Nev 1 1 1
facthunter Posted yesterday at 12:32 AM Posted yesterday at 12:32 AM Kirk frequently visited University Campuses where He debated his views very Effectively. "Prove ME Wrong" was his Theme. He is credited with being a Major factor of Young Peoples support for Trump at the Last election. (ever). Nev 1

Marty_d Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Not checking rooftops seems to be a theme. While no one deserves to be shot (although I wouldn't shed any tears if Trump copped one), there is some irony that he was apparently pushing a very pro-gun line and one of his views was that yes, there will be extra deaths from gun violence, but it's worth it. What really gave me cold shivers was Trump's response. Can't remember it word for word but it was along the lines of "There are a lot of left-wing lunatics. They're terrible. And we're going to do something about that." So without knowing who fired the shot or what his motivation was (remember he's not necessarily a pissed-off Democrat - apparently the guy that tried to shoot Trump was just doing it for the notoriety, didn't give a shit about the politics) - Trump has already decided it must be ideological, and he's going to clamp down on the "left wing lunatics". I see more stupid, democracy-wrecking actions by Trump in the future. He's already looking like a tin-pot dictator, now he will really try to make the USA an authoritarian christian state with him as supreme leader. Don't forget he fully supported Bolsonaro in Brazil, who has just been found guilty of plotting a coup and planning to kill the actual elected president. He loves (other) right-wing, authoritarian nut job dictators. 1
Marty_d Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago The more I read about this Kirk bloke the less I like him. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-09-12/assassinated-right-wing-influencer-charlie-kirk-views/105766340 This is the quote I'd heard about. "I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights." 1
onetrack Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I wonder if he'd included himself in those "necessary" gun deaths? What a prize dickhead. The fundamentalist Christian BS is overpowering. They're not "God-given rights", they're rules made up by old men from 234 years ago, when a firearm took two minutes to set up and fire, and the firer was as much at risk from getting killed by the firearm, as the target was. And these morons treat these rules as something that came down from Mt Sinai with Moses. Jesus wept. They're prepared to keep sacrificing their children on the Altar of the Gun, on a par with worshipping Baal. 1 1 2
old man emu Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago I'm gettng sick and tired of having to pay homage to a Nation whose attitudes towards its people are so opposite to those held by Nations considered to be civilised. 1
Grumpy Old Nasho Posted 29 minutes ago Posted 29 minutes ago He's referring to Australia as one. Where black African boys get chopped up by other black Africans wielding machetes.
