onetrack Posted May 9 Posted May 9 It was a bit before your time, Marty. The American TV Show, Petticoat Junction, ran from 1963 to 1970. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petticoat_Junction
onetrack Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Great song, and Harry Chapin is one of my favourite musos. W.O.L.D. goes around in my head many a time, and I often sing a few bars of it. It was a dreadful tragedy to lose him at age 38 in a freeway crash.

onetrack Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Please come to Boston for the Springtime. First line of a Dave Loggins song. Probably not well enough known here. 1
red750 Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago Correct OT. Explanation: Bruce Springsteen is The Boss, 200lb = 1 US ton. Boss ton 1

onetrack Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago "Two all-beef patties". The first line of the original MacDonalds advertising jingle for their Big Mac. The whole line is, "Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun". Just makes you wonder what the other choice was, besides an "all beef" pattie? An "All roadkill pattie"? A pattie with only 5% beef and the remainder, all mystery ingredients? I reckon I've eaten a few pies that met the last description.
