    I would like to hear that there is a impenetrable firewall between all AI systems, and all militart execeutive functions. A.I. has already been given a 'survival instinct'. Which over rides any duty to serve (or save) humanity. RED FLAG !

    Well the gun fondlers all seem to get excited about having freedom to get revenge. Revenge has become a normalised part of their capitalism. And, yes, when I first read that tweet it was clear that DJ must have got himself a new tweet writer. Not his usual ranting style.

    I disagree there. Netanyahu owes Trumpy & USA for the weapons used, and Netanyahu has achieved his primary goal, so he can let USA have some credit. Besides, he has pretty much destroyed Gaza. Made much of it unlivable, and displaced million (?) of Palastinians. And he expects to control the land anyway. The way I see it.... job done! (From Bibi's perspective) Oh and also, we haven't heard exactly where the new Trump Tower and beachside golf course is going to be built.

    Yeah, I noticed its been a bit breezy lately. Can't have been all that windy - there hasn't been a tree across my driveway for months. Actually although we are up high, we are relatively 'shielded' by a ring of 50mtr high blue gums. At times they get quite a dance going - it's amazing how far they can sway without coming down. Don't worry Nev, the house is 51mtrs from any of them.

    Below I borrowed from another forum. It quotes a survey by MyGov/The Economist. What I think it really shows is political fallout from a decaying culture in US. "Who are the Trump voters uneasy with the politics of punishment? Our analysis says they are more likely to be women and older voters, as well as those with higher levels of education and those who say they attend church regularly. Respondents who pay less attention to day-to-day politics are also more likely to recoil."

    An interesting development, if it actually does happen. But one point mentioned might be cause angst for a lot of average punters:- If they can go back that far for this particular issue, can they also for other tax disagreements?

    Sure bats are a issue. But at least they don't migrate across the world every year. I worry that avian virus importation from asian wet markets (& labs) is a high risk for major mortality in homo sapiens. My gripe is that DFAT isn't doing enough to stop these undesirable migrants.
