Ah well, tbh , l'm not the least bit worried about the oil thing, we'll be right. We just should have more than that though that's all, a mth is nothing.

The old rave 😁, was more just about the typical Australian stupidity and  dependency on everyone else thing though bc our Gov's are just too stupid to build a creative smart and self reliant country for it's people.

Yeah l invision that sort of weird war in the future to. Be like one of these robot fighting matches they do.

Be all these drones from ea side goin out and smashing ea other. How will somebody actually win.

Still , be better than humans anyway l guess.

 

But oh hell yeah , on the other hand , look at Pootin this last 4yrs. Yeah Ukr drones are after oil, soldiers, tanks, anything they can get militarily but Pootin on the other hand anything is game. People on the street, living rooms, kinder gardens hospitals whole cities you name it.

Nahhh, we pay for it all. The Gov has no money, only our money.  And eh, they grab and just blow to actually, more of it than just about any other country in the world too.

But yet you wanna just go see how some other gov's look after their people and their country and what their country can do, yet their people are only paying half what we do.

And here they aren't even their resources either anyway, they're ours, the people. We own it all not the gov, it's not theirs it's ours. They're just some moron in their doing some v shyt job for 10-20 yrs then we go pay for their luxurious pension.

At any rate, l'm not even talking about Gov buying us anything with our money, we have far far huger problems atm. Like our kids ad families being able to buy a home, or even afford a family, our cost of living. Both are among the highest in the world.

It's always been like this. Neither myself, nor my parents nor grandparents managed to buy a home anything like the modern mansions.

What we got to live in  was very basic and only happened by a lot of 'going without.'

 

And having kids has always been a struggle - emotionally, physically and financially.

 

Maybe us oldies didn't whinge about it enough for the next generation to notice.

l better shut up after this one wrong thread don't even know how this started.

But yeah, it's always been a struggle like you say l know.

The numbers though in even just housing now show it all but there's much much more.

Housing alone though Sydneys somem like 12x the av wage, Melb 8 or 9, the rest are almost as bad as Sydney. 

But to they slime in the av wage now as both working and somem like 100- 120k.

Back in the day, houses were 3 and 4x the av wage and that was on only one working.

Italy's Senate is writing a law to guarantee Ukraine a supply of old fishing nets — one of its most practical defenses against Russian drone attacks.

 

I do wonder how they plan to hold these net up?

If they're protecting from the little quad motor drones, on poles a few metres high would probably be enough.

I don't think fishing nets would stop a diving Shahed.
