When can you add two to eleven and get one as the correct answer?

Our landline runs via the NBN through service provider TPG. We don't answer the landline when it rings, it's either a telemarketer or scammer.

On the contrary, that's probably why I have an aversion to anything alcoholic.

We had one when I was in high school (1956-58ish). Googled it and they are still available. My grandparents, with whom we lived when I was a preschooler, had a kero bath heater. We lived on a farm. Apparently I drank some kero and had to be taken to hospital. I would have been around 3yo.

Does anyone remember kerosine refrigerators? Are there any off-gridders who still have one? We also haad keerosine water heaters in the bathroom when I was a kid.

Yes, but then you have to get to 1,000 to get back to M.

Putting on weight when you reach middle age is the fault of the Romans.
Roman numerals for 40 is XL.

For information about the Ukraine-Russia conflict, Republicans put their trust of Donald Trump higher than the U.S. military/Pentagon, among other sources and media.

Well, all repaired. Ignition switch removed, repaired and replaced. Steering lock mechanism also found to be worn. This, too, has been repaired. All up cost $434. Back on the road.

You may know this. I didn't, I didn't even know it was a thing.
A post came up on Facebook explaining why airlines detour around the Tibetan plateau. It's not due to military domination or restrictions, and only partly due to turbulance over the mountains. It's because the plateau is 14,000 ft high, and if the aircraft suffered a decompression, it would not be able to descend to the safe level of 10,000 ft. Besides, there are no suitable airfields to make an emergency landing.

What is the next letter in this sequence? 1.f 2.e 3.i 4.r 5.?
Looks like nobody else has a clue. The missing letter is "H". Each letter represents that number letter when spelt out.
FIRST SECOND THIRD FOURTH FIFTH
Don't ask me who comes up with these questions.

Sounds like a lock issue, not the ignition switch (which is a separate part attached to the back of the lock). I'd call a locksmith. When I once had a steering/ignition lock jam, a locksmith pulled it apart and put a new tumbler mechanism into it for about $50. It might be that.
How many years ago was that? I made a couple of phonecalls today. One place (mobile mechanics and electronics) who quoted $700. Called a locksmith and they said bring your key over. My son drove me, and they cut a new key to mfr specs (computer controlled key cutter). They said the old one was pretty worn. Cost me $35.90. They said give that a try, and if that doesn't work, we'll have to come out and replace the key barrel. It didn't work, so they are coming tomorrow. Quote including call-out $350.
