  1. Have you ever shot a short video on your iPhone but it's file size was too large to attach to an email or to post on these forums? iPhone video files are stored in .MOV format. I shot a video at our Men's Shed, but at 40.16 MB it was too large to upload, so I searched the web and found a website that compresses these files online with output in .mp4 format, with a filesize of 2.81 MB. The website is freecompress.com and the link is below. Simply upload the file, click on COMPRESS and download the .mp4 file when compression is complete.

  2. I tested positive early in the peice, had the vaccine and 5 boosters. I've had shingles, recently had the vaccine, regularly have the flue vaccine for each new variant. I had the pneumonia vaccine 2 years ago and have been told that lasts a lifetime, no boosters required.

  3. I got called in to watch a segment on the Channel 9 program Postcards. The Union Hotel in Ascot Vale was featured. Due to my deafness, I missed the discussion betwen my kids where he said he had to sell his share in the hotel when Dictator Dan screwed Victoria and banned hotel trading during his horrendous Covid lockdown. Craig was required to take his accrued long service leave and is now a permanent casual, often working seven days a week.

  4. I have two small torches from Woolies which are each powered by two AA batteries. They give off a very bright light and the batteries last at least 6 months. They are 14cm long and 2 cm in diameter. They cost less than $10 each. They fit in the neck of a Daily Juice bottle which gives a solid base to bounce the light off the ceiling. One torch is sufficient to light a room enough to walk around safely without bumping in to things, and can easily be carried around.
