  1. On the program, they said 4 was the correct answer, because the preamble finshed with a comma, not a full stop, so forms part of the question. Contestants who selected 3 were eliminated.

Which is the odd one out?
    TROJAN
    DISMAY
    TRANSEPT
    CONCOCT
    JUSTIFY

  2. I cann't remember when I last had McDonalds, wuld have been around 10 years ago. They wee mediocre then, and have gone downhill since. But their prices have gonne through the roof. I don't often have  that kind of take away. Pizza or fish and chips alternatively Friday nights. We have a good local pizza place (not a chain) where I have known the owner for about 15 years, and the local fish and chippery is also very good. Occasionally I will pick up a BBQ Cheeseburger from Hungry Jack's (Burger King in the US). They are not big, but quite tasty, and only cost $3.50. Most burgers are well over $10.00. I also tried what KFC calls a Go-bucket of chips and popcorn chicken, which is also only $4.50. Not a meal, but a good snack. Popcorn chicken is small balls of fried chicken about he size of a piece of popcorn. Loose change menu stuff.

  3. Two days. No bites. But it was the 1% question. Only one contestant out of 100 made it to this point. If she could answer it, she would take home 100,000 pounds UK. She missed it and took home nothing.

The initals of every number from 17.

Seventeen  Eighteen  Nineteen  Twenty  Twenty one >>>>>>>>Thirty  >>>>>>>>> Forty.

So the next letter in the sequence is F.

Try getting that in 30 seconds.

This one is a bit easier.

Here is the next question, which is to ask you how many times is the word is being used in the question itself?

  4. Moment Russian nuclear bomber crashes while on fire over Russia
    ©Provided by Daily Mail
This is the shocking moment a £228 million ($283m) Russian nuclear bomber hurtled to the ground in flames over Russia after being struck by a Ukrainian missile this morning. Video showed the abrupt descent of one of Putin's Tu-22M3 strategic bombers, pluming smoke before crashing over the Stavropol region in southern Russia. The Ukrainian military claimed responsibility for the crash, saying in a statement that it knocked the plane out of the air with anti-aircraft missiles.

  5. Further to my post onn Apr 10, and following the attack onn the Bishop inn western Sydney, I see that there are calls for parents who let their teenagers out with blades (knives, machetes etc.,) to be charged with a crime. Not before time. And lax bail laws nneed tightening, too. If they are old enough to do the crime, they are old enough to do the time.

I cannot believe that a teenager in hospital under guard in Melbourne has asked for bail after driving a stolen car at over 200 kph while his mates filmed it for social media, and T-boning another car. He wants to be released "because he doesn't like being locked up."   ---    And the legal profession are considering it???

  6. We've seen manufacturing in Australia disappear for years. And now, another one.

Plastics manufacturer Qenos was placed in the hands of liquidators and sold to an unnamed buyer who has no interest in returning the company to production. Qenos manufactured plastic used in household goods, such as wheelie bins, and in solar panels. They were the only company making these goods in Australia.Once again we are forced into importing these things we are able to make here. The company plants in Melbourne and Sydney will be closed down with the loss of hundreds of jobs. Just when Albo is calling for a return to manufacturing in Australia. It is claimed the increasing cost of electricity is the cause of the company going under.

  7. Man, you're hot tonight. This one might take a little longer.

What is the next letter in this sequence?
    SENTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

  8. On the ball again, Marty.

What  is the largest number between 1 and 1,000,000 that, when written out in words, does not contain the letter N.

  9. Donald Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen this week said it was “comical” the former president is whining about his hush money trial potentially preventing him from attending the high school graduation ceremony of his teenage son, Barron Trump.

Trump has disingenously spun Judge Juan Merchan’s comment — about seeing how the trial goes before deciding on whether court can be postponed on May 17 for the educational event — into the lie that he’s likely been banned from going, sparking outrage among conservatives.

Cohen, though, highlighted that he “wasn’t aware” that Trump had attended the graduations of his other children Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump and Tiffany Trump.

“I find it not just comical, right, but I find it insulting that that’s the big issue,” Cohen, who spent years as Trump’s fixer, said on the Medias Touch Network’s “Political Beatdown” podcast.

“I missed my 25th anniversary and my wife’s 50th birthday because I was in Otisville, in part because of things that I had done at the direction and for the benefit of Donald Trump,” he recalled.

“So, before I start shedding a tear for him, for Barron, and, I’m sure Melania is extremely excited he’s not going to be there,” Cohen added. “Rest assured I’m not losing any sleep nor I’m going to shed a tear that Trump can’t go to Barron’s graduation.”
