  1. I don't expect you to guess this one because in 2012 he suffered a stroke which has rendered hin unrecognisable. He is actor Tim Curry, who starred in The Rocky Horror Show, and 'It'. Then: Now:
  2. I don't care where people come from, I have friends who come from all over. But if they choose to come and live here, they have to abide by our laws. So should people who were born here. But if they are going to steal or highjack cars, break into houses, smash and grab from stores, firebomb shops, houses or religious places, we don't need them, and they are not welcome. But many immigrants aremore than welcome. Examples are Peter Bol. Sudanese, now living in Austrealia, and has won Olympic and Comm Games medals for Australia. And Gout Gout, born in Australia whit Sudanese parents, and looks like becoming one of the greatest runners of all time. Absolutely more than welcome. But those machete wielding thugs jumping shop counters can go back where they came from.

  7. Speaking of golf, I lost the link, but someone who had played against him did say a lot about his cheating. Many have accused him of cheating, but others claim he is an exceptional golfer. https://www.sportbible.com/golf/donald-trump-golf-cheating-pga-976968-20250321

  9. In January 2025, the Trump administration froze billions in foreign aid, claiming it was necessary to realign spending. Critics argued it was a political move. Nonprofits filed a lawsuit, claiming the freeze violated Congress’s control over spending. U.S. District Judge Amir Ali ordered the funds to be released, but the administration appealed. Supreme Court Decision The Supreme Court ruled to allow lower courts to determine how the funds should be disbursed, rejecting the freeze. The majority argued that funds approved by Congress must be released as planned, while the dissenting justices believed the lower courts overstepped their authority.

  11. Sky News ground to a halt as they cut to the White House for breaking news as US President Donald Trump announced updates on his recent dismantling of the Department of Education. The President also announced that Boeing had won the contract to launch new fighter jets so the US can continue to “dominate the skies”. President Trump, accompanied by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, announced a significant enhancement to America's air power with the introduction of the F-47, the latest in a new fleet of Sixth Generation Fighter jets. Touted as the most advanced jets globally, Boeing has secured production rights after winning a highly competitive bidding process. The Next Generation Air Dominance programme will replace Lockheed Martin's F-22 Raptor with a crewed aircraft built to enter combat alongside drones. The plane's design remains a closely held secret, but would likely include stealth, advanced sensors, and cutting-edge engines. https://cdn.jwplayer.com/previews/nHozqPs8

  13. Well, here's another WowNews for you. Suck it up. Donald Trump officially takes away major right from Joe Biden claiming he ‘can’t be trusted’ In a bold and controversial move, Donald Trump signed off on a sweeping memo on Friday (March 21) revoking the security clearances of more than a dozen high-profile figures, citing concerns over ‘national interest.’ Among those stripped of access to daily intelligence briefings are former President Joe Biden and his entire family, former Vice President Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, as well as several attorneys and outspoken anti-Trump politicians. This unprecedented decision marks yet another aggressive step by Trump to reshape the political landscape, intensifying the divide between his administration and key political opponents. Read report here.
  14. Trump to revoke legal status for 530,000 migrants as he prepares to make decision on whether to deport Ukrainian refugees ‘pretty soon’/ Read report here.

    Correct Marty. 10 = 25 > 2 x 10 + 5 = 25 15 = 50 > 3 x 15 + 5 = 50 20 = 85 > 4 x 20 + 5 = 85, therefore 25 = ? > 5 x 25 + 5 = 130.

  18. When I was cleaning my stuff out of my 1996 Festiva to go to the wreckers, I checked the spare tyre and was amazed that it looked like it had never been out of the boot. I only owned the car for two and a half years, and only once drove more than 30 km. My average travel was about 100 km per week, 3 return trips of 22km and the rest in short local trips. Apart from 1 5km stretch with a 70kph limit, the rest was 40, 50 or 60 kph. I have no need to use freeways, which are not free anyway. I haven't been into the CBD since before Covid, and would probably use public transport anyway.
