    Israel

Litespeed , have you been a member of the armed forces in this country or any other, if not you can never know what it is like to be shot at by a terrorist, theatre of war things are not the same , the hamas cowards are hiding amongst their own people, in hospitals, in refugee camps ,and whilst not condoning killing of innocents the fog of war prevails, IDF needs to keep on going and eliminate all the coward hamas, and hezbollah if needed, they are surrounded by millions of hateful nations, ,i was in the British army before migrating here and i can tell you it is terrifying to be shot at(green army in ulster 1 tour)and having civilians around you and having your government tie 1 hand behind your back(rule of engagement) it was enough for me,terrorists of any nation should be put down with with no compassion, Israel has its back to the wall and MUST keep on going, we live in a peaceful country and dont know the daily terror of missiles aimed at us , so from your armchair dont condemn unless you have been at the frontline
  2. 34 years ago i was working at the submarine base in ( tradie self emloyed) sydney, i was climbing to a scaffold to weld out some pipes when my ladder broke in half 6mtre fall, rushed to hospital with broken hip, after 4 weeks in hospital put a claim in with insurance (my wife was pregnant at the time with our twins7 months in) claim was rejected because they deemed i could do other work (i was on crutches ) ie sitting at a desk, etc etc , insurance is a crock, after that i never insured myself ,put monies away instead i say it again PARASITES
  3. I had a friend years ago who sold insurance (a broker) he was a great salesman could sell ice to eskimos, sold life insurance to people who could really not afford it, also all other types of insurance now he has is very well off(millions) and has got out of the game, 2 years ago i spoke to him about it and why he never tried to sell me on insurance ( i only have insurance on the req ) his reply was , You didnt believe the bullshit that i spruked , i said in reply but do you think that it is immoral to tell outright lies to prospective clients , his answer was , they paid me to much money,i shook my head , nice bloke in reality, does do a lot of charity work and gives his time and money to worthy causes now
  4. Insurance companies= parasites, insurance is big business they make more profit than banks and every time thier is a flood or fire up go the rates ,a friend in brisbane has had her house go under in the last 2 big floods here , her bill this year is $30,000 she has a very ill husband who wont be here by xmas, and she is retired her house has been rebuilt but is now worth 500000 less no one will buy it in the flood zone near the uni, the insurance co are PARASITES
  5. Correct OME he always wanted to be a lawyer but getting experience as a tradie gave hom leg up to the union, 10 years post apprenticeship gave him real experience, this what got him this job, he is now 33 years old and has a wife ,mortgage, 2 very young boys(i love my grandkids) and studying , has a lot more energy than i LoL , he is his own man , politics, and ideas as he should but we do have some heated debates , i am proud of what he has achieved (as well as his sibling Hannah) and when he gets his degree in law he wants to go into social justice law
  6. My son (one half of twins ) left school and became an apprentice boilermaker, did a few years after he qualified in fly in fly out now studying to be a lawyer 1 more year to go , his job is a union rep on $150g a year plus car plus super plus plenty of leave , boilermakers in Brisbane are on 75 to 85 g a year , thats a big disparity in wages, tradies are still underpaid
  7. OK the other ones Laurel & Hardy
  8. The israelis have every right to kill bomb maim destroy gaza hamas is a terrorist extremist mob the people who support them are complicit with hamas the Israelis have very good military and being surrounded by extremist countries who want to exterminate them i will not blame them for destroying gaza , muslim countries seem to hate the Israelis why, even indonesia who are thousands of kilometres away from the middle east i support them in every way
  9. Its why i came to Aus after watching whiplash (and skippyLOL)
  10. If we look at the members on both forums we are in the older age bkt, not many young people get on board Rec flying and it seems that is waning apart from Reds pics of aircraft not much is happening there , no new homebuilt guys putting their aircraft up(including me ,but thats another story) lots of peoples community markers but i dont see any input from these people, i log on every day and although i dont participate in all discussions i do like to read them all, there is a political side creeping in, at my house family gathering's there is NO religion, politics no unions discussed these topics are all tribal and cause a lot of arguments, most forum users are respectful about other users inputs even if they dont agree, i have my own ideas and thoughts about the Voice but keep it to myself, i find religion to be outdated an naive very chidish, and politics needs to be put in the rubbish bin. I have only met 3 users of the forums and will try and meet up with more over time anyway have a great day all of you Cheers gareth

  15. The indigenous peoples get a lot of gov money through the various corporations that are managed by indigenous peoples, i have worked in various places in aus every state, and can sya that most of the local aboriginal in these areas were family people who worked for a living , bringing their kids up with education and good family life , the disadvantage peoples (indigenous and white) who dont have thes advantages have allways been left behind ,pouring money ito it seems to not get the results require, so the voice somehow ,magically will change this ,indigenous people have for me allways been part of Aus nothing will change with this voice , they have representation at Federal and state levels of government, the voice will not change this, i recognize them as my fellow Australians , nothing more or less its a NO for me
  16. My wife worked in education Qld,the school had a number of indigenous pupils who all got up to $2000 per year for their schooling needs, our 2 children who went to the same school got nothing we paid for it , is that not division
  17. My father who served in WW11 in Burma,India,Singapore ,Java told me a story of captured Japanese soldiers that had committed crimes to local villages they were tied to a tree and had mortars fired at them, do we call that a war crime, yes but consider the locals who wanted instant justice ,he also told me that the Japanese were the most cruel of soldiers and as he said "we took no prisoners " during the war ,he was also a hangman at Sentosa war trials for an extra 2 shillings a day , different times but war does change people
  18. Because he was a snake in the grass as well as a alcoholic and a chauvanistic pig
