You wouldn't dream of restoring that Chev if you were in your right mind. It's potential is as a ratrod donor body. Get it structurally sound and put it on another chassis. Leave the patina as is, just a wax job to seal it. There's a thousand dollars value just in the front guards and grille. Any maple leaf Chev is rare and very sought after no matter what condition.
willedoo Posted Tuesday at 09:17 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 09:17 AM (edited) If the Chev was a roller, he'd get $2,500 to $3,000 in a heartbeat. Being on four rolling wheels is a big selling factor. $100 car trailer hire vs hiring a crane truck. Edited Tuesday at 09:19 AM by willedoo
facthunter Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Getting a couple of wheels shouldn't be that Hard. If you want to restore a vehicle and get the Best outcome, Get the BEST one you can find and do the Least to it that destroys it's originality. A lot of these old vehicles have Fatigued Axles cracked cranks, heads and Blocks and Chassis Parts and RUST,etc.
