  1. Dont forget the dates he pardoned from....those dates were done so Biden and his son were not convicted or taking money from the Ukraine in dirty deals..many millions of dollars back in about 2014 or 2016...the pardons Biden gave him AND his son were to make sure it was outside the timeframe they could charge him
  2. I dont know about the pardoning thing but hey Biden pardoned himself and his son....thats nepitism to the max
  3. No I dont have Woke DS I have SDS Sensible derangement syndrome. Woke...Marks definition is pretty simple really dont be a dick and do not try to force your beliefs on me by changing laws to only suit minorities..changing history you dont like ....there is lots wrong with "the woke idealogy" I dont care if you are white, black, brindle, caramel or pink with blue poker dots....if you come here you fit in to our life style and obey OUR laws and not want to bring laws from the shithole you left and try to make it the same here I dont care if you are gay or pink or LGBTQXYZ I really dont give a shit but do NOT make me have to fit into your beliefs...I also think if you want to dress like a woman and live like one even get your dick cut off thats up to you but you are still a biological male you are NOT a femalle. You cant be pregnant or "potentially pregnant"..this is what woke is its bullshit its not real life.
  4. Yes but in the late 1930' s there were no mobile phones no idiotic education systems poisioning young minds and uni students producing dumber and stupider people whose life revolves around their devices and only ever watch some idiot on Bookface who frys ants with a magnifying glass who then professes their great knowlegde of politics or how people should live their lives. There used to be sensible critical thinking and stable mindfull people. They used to teach critical thinking...they used to teach history...correct history not "modified" history, not to mention maths and english and comprehension...long gone are those days we are breeding a generation of dumb arses due to this woke wank of not being real and looking at actual facts or what was past and what is present. Apparently the podcaster down the road is the source of their wide view of facts or thinking. Now everything is out of wack...kids and adults are being pounded by biased media snd no one wants to look st both sides anymore..its more tribal and it has been directed that way by the constant brainwashing. TDS is very real. Diagnose yourself..as soon as you hear or see anything with Donald Trump does you mind go straight to hate..does it go to anger...does it make you feel sick? does it occupy the majority of your thought..well if you get 2 out of those four you need professional help because you are physcologially damaged. TDS is very real
  5. I think Trump would be happy with this little gem from the IPCC...but of course the MSM are keeping it quiet
  6. informal votes were 9% the last election and 6.3% this one..that tells me more made their vote count I never take a HTV card when I vote. I am not rude to anyone just say no thanks as I walk through. I also always vote early. Cant stand waiting in line. I think I have become a grumpy old fart. I hate the practice I think it needs to be banned. make people actually take a interest and make their own decisions not follow the sheep.
  7. Wille. you are correct. I had 2 properties at the time. My home/workshop and the house next door that I purchased to rent out...18% from memory I was dealing with on both places That wasnt caused by the economy though...Keating and the banks were fighting. The banks won
  8. From Grok what is the current inflation rate in the USA and compare it to the current inflation here in Australia Thought for 3s As of the latest data (March 2026): bls.gov United States: The annual CPI inflation rate is 3.3% (up from 2.4% in February 2026). tradingeconomics.com Australia: The annual CPI inflation rate is 4.6% (up from 3.7% in February 2026). abs.gov.au Quick Comparison Australia's inflation is currently higher than the US by about 1.3 percentage points. Both countries saw inflation rise in March 2026, but Australia's increase was sharper (driven by housing, transport/fuel, and goods prices). tradingeconomics.com The US rate has been more moderate recently but ticked up partly due to energy (e.g., gasoline). bls.gov Australia's rate is now at its highest since around late 2023 and sits further above its central bank's 2–3% target band, while the US rate is closer to (but still above) the Fed's typical 2% goal. tradingeconomics.com
  9. We are pretty much the omly first world country with the highest inflation rate. The USA is lower..even the basket case pommies are better than us .Japan is extremely low, All economists and experts say its the amount of spending this government is doing. They are addicted to it. The budgets they put out are creative accounting they do not show the full costs ..there is so much "off the books" they dont show which would then show the real balance sheet of Australia. There are now literally more people working directly for the government in one way or another than the rest. This country is not productive any more. I saw a stat a couple of days ago where 1700 private businesses have gone bust. 300 off in qld and 600 odd in NSW and the rest in Victoria..and that was the last month of two. Those businesses are private and didnt work or supply goods to the govt or their projects. We are being led down the wrong track for the past 4 or 5 years. We need to turn this around. We need more of our young people to not do arty farty uni courses and get them on the tools..they will earn a lot more and build this place back up instead of importing dog walkers and yoga instructors and foreign studebts who just suck on the system and dont make this country productive Is this too hard to do or am I barking up the wrong tree and I should get in my time machine and go back to the 80's This country is so rooted now. Yes I am a baby boomer and what I have I have worked for and paid millions of dollars in tax yet apparently I am a drag on the system and not something to aspire to apparently
  10. Actually ch7 has been a bit unusual lately. I noticed that when they showed Charmers interview when the interest rates went up and he blamed the Iran war basically and they then showed Michelle Bullocks assesment they did NOT show the the part where she said its mainly govt out of control spending that did the damage and not the war was the main reason..they essentially reported the story as Charmers version and did not show the other side. Then Spotlight did their program. so they seem to be swinging both ways on those 2 reports. Maybe its as usual its only for clicks not showing both sides of the one story.
  11. Nev. you didnt read what I wrote. I said there are not many that have a right bias.....the only really right side and not far right bias is Sky (any owned by Murdoch) all the rest are left or far left like the ABC is now
  12. I agree with you there Nev...the media in this country is shockingly bad. Journalism is now tainted with woke and left bias. Very few have any right bias its mainly left. What ever happened to unbiased fact based journalism that just gave you the facts and not the spin depending on who owns the media company The ABC used to until it was poisioned by idealogy and crap interviewers
  13. Octave. The proof is in the results. How can you get 34% of the primary vote yet hold 85% of the available seats?....population stacking is one of course look at Burke's electorate. Are you trying to tell me those voters make up their own mind on preferences...half cant even speak english so they follow the how to vote cards. This goes on all over the electorates. Most walk in and grab a sheet and then do a donkey tick on the ballot paper.
  14. The pref system will work if everyone who voted actually used their brain and cast their preferentials to as they actually want them done. The problem is most voters are sheep and only mark their papers as per the handouts given by the partys. This of course is how that party want YOU to vote NOT what you should vote. You should vote the way you want to the outcome NOT what some dick in a political party wants you to vote. In my opinion this is what makes the system flawed because way more than 50% of the voters just copy what the party voting slip tells them. Thats not clutching at straws Nev those are just the facts. This voting system is designed so that the sheep in the population just follow each other over the cliff
  15. hahahha well you explain to me why the Labor government is governing with 34% of the primary vote but has 90+ seats in the parliment....this is what pref voting does.
  16. Onetrack .... the gerrymander system is well and truely envoked in the preferential system already. Look at sydney electorates like Burkes one....its gerrymandered by race as a lot of them are..Benelong is another. A lot of electorates are bordered to encompass majority ethnic groups
  17. No not at all.....you have to concede that what ever horse wins the race is the winner no matter how many are in the race. Its a fact. You are talking politics not democracy of numbers The difference is that there was a mojority group that have voted for that candidate than any other. To me thats a majority of people
  18. Our preferential voting system is NOT democratic..thats the problem. It was done to make sure all votes counted but its faulty. We need the same compulsory voting to make sure everyone does make a choice and it needs to be First past the post. Then you truly get the majority of the will of the people. The more parties you have though can make this problematic because you can of course have 5 parties and the vote can thin out and you could end up governing on 21% of the vote if all the votes were roughly the same...BUT in this case you then have to negotiate with other parties to get a majority if you want a policy implemented. if there becomes a stalemate then on getting a policy through there needs to be a mechanism for the general populous to have their vote on that particular issue. Its sort of when supply is blocked you dont sack the government you go to the people to decide. This is more democratic than the shitshow we have now
  19. Marty you watch too much Jimmy Kimmel . Then again I do suppose you vote Democrat (Labor or Green)
  20. Labor is no different except its the trade unions. Just look at Victoria with the CFMEU debacle
  21. I have always voted with consideration of where preferences go. I am very careful with them. Most people and I would say 80% are just sheep and follow the handouts. Never thinking about the power they can actually wield.
  22. You are right. The pref system here is very flawed Everyone I spoke to in NZ and that being the people I know and a lot that I didnt know and was just talking to all said they were so glad to see the back of Jacinta Ardern. She now lives in Melbourne. I said we will send her back and they all said no thanks we couldnt wait to see the back end of her. Albo probably has her on speed dial This is why they got in because the majority of the population vote with the handout sheets at the polls. They dont know how the system works or have any idea how it works not to mention at more than 2,600,000 work for the government. Are you going to get rid of the government that hired you and pays your wages? There are over 5.3 million people on govt income support payments this does include 2.671 million on the old age pension. There is 65 to 75% of the population live in the cities the rest is rural or remote. Thats a pretty big voter base. Where did all of labors seats come from...not the rural areas thats for sure. I wonder why that is?..The majority on benefits are in the cities of course. Thats a pretty big chunck of the population who want to keep the handout coming.
  23. No you dont ...Secret ballot is only held in the party room when electing a new leader...very very rarely is it done on a policy decision by any party except on something like abortion
  24. Nev there is a oxymoron when it comes to socialism and democracy. The 2 are mutually exclusive Currently we have a socialist government and I certainly wouldnt call it a democracy. All of these parties vote long party lines NOT in the interest of the individual politicians electrorates. They are all too frightened to vote how the majority of the districts they are in want to vote. This then makes the ruling party effectively a dictatorship spewing their own ideas to make the whole country comply We do not really live in a democracy.
  25. Seems the major wind power is the North Island, Regardless the majority of NZ power base comes from Geo and Hydro..recognised always as a "base load" supply. NZ is lucky to have those to use. We dont Coal and gas here are our baseload supply. Wind and solar are never base load they are too intermittant. There is no spinning reseve available on wind and solar and there never will be. Base load is the key to a stable system. Baseload is like the lead keel on a sailing boat the boat remains pretty stable but remove that lead and you will capsize...just look at Spain and Portugal last year. North Island: The majority of capacity (over 75–80% historically, and still the bulk today). Many large farms are clustered in the lower North Island, especially around the Tararua Ranges and Manawatū region near Palmerston North (e.g., Turitea, Tararua, Te Āpiti). Other notable North Island farms include Harapaki (Hawke’s Bay), Waipipi (Taranaki), and Te Uku (Waikato).
