  1. And the dearest electricity, always has been but the gaps not getting any smaller because of the "cheapest form of energy" should be comparable to the other states if its so good.
  2. Good in the city, not much happens out in the bush. the Algal bloom wasn't an issue until it hit the metro area.
  3. They aren't doing there job. Must be penalty's for people for this to stop. We keep getting told CEO's get the big bucks because the buck stops with them. Still waiting to see it happen. While some of the fines seem big, they are budgeted for as a cost of doing business.
  4. I want to know what punishment the government is going to give the CEO's of the company's that gouged the fuel price on fuel that was not affected by the war. It is the only way this sort of thing will stop. Qantas, commonwealth bank, woolies/coles etc
  5. She only is getting votes because of the quality of the other partys
  6. No tolls in SA yet. We also have the o-bahn which is pretty good the few times I have used it. Buses use it to get int the city quickly and then can just drive on normal roads to other destinations. I believe it was expensive to build but been in use for 40 years this year.
  7. They claim it on their tax
  8. Maybe the metro area should pay more tax on it. Pay for some of the public transport infrastructure that they have and shoul have access to. Make it high enough and it will also encourage them to use it. Win Win!
  9. you are right, but 22% of the vote is still significant, even if it doesn't transfer in to seats.
  10. We could go on forever.
  11. Pretty sure Howard did say that initially. He did take the GST to one of the later election during his reign. Remember it well, Its when I became a floating voter. At least he took it to an election. We could mention "there will be no carbon tax under a government I lead" or more recently "Household electricty bills will be $275 cheaper"
  12. Fair enough, just pointing out the average miner makes a lot more than the average checkout person so they contribute more tax.
  13. I think we are seeing the same sort of thing with an industrial farm in NSW. more to come.
  14. Putting kids on e bikes on the road or footpaths puts people in hospital
  15. I do think these people and company's do need to pay there fair share of tax though which appears not to be happening.
  16. So what we are saying is we need some politicians with balls to think long term about the future of Australia and not just about the next election. So yes our present system is a con. Having said that I would rather it then some of the alternatives. She kind of does pay for it indirectly. Most of these people she employs pay a lot of tax and again at least she is Australian and supports other things. More than would happen if she was an overseas company.
  17. Not really productive, people saying that and calling people things like "perilous pauline" and what ever people call Trump reminds me of how Sky news talk about people. So some are no better than the people, organisations they dispise.
  18. Nobody said she was. As long as she isn't breaking the laws of the land...... she still employs a lot of Australians in well paying jobs at the moment.
  19. Has she done anything illegal. She still employs 1000s of Australians. like I said there is 1000s if not 1000000s of business people whos morals may be questionable but if they are breaking no laws good on them. It is up to governments to fix this sort of thing. Happen in motor racing all the time. The racers push the boundys and if the governing bodies dont like it the change the rules. pretty basic really.
  20. Blame the pollys, not the people that take advantage of it. Of course I care about people getting rich through lying.. Talking to our local politician about the huge renewable hydrogen con SA has lost millions of dollars on.
  21. Bag Hanson, don't bag someone who is not breaking the law, employing Australians, supporting sporting and other associations. Bag the current set of politicians for letting it happen. again Murdoch is a businessman and obviously a very good one. As long as they don't break Australian laws so be it. The only ones that can change this is our Politicians If you think Albo is doing such a good job, contact him and get him to change it. Good luck!
  22. And who lets her do that. If it upsets you, talk to your government representatives. Sound like a lot have people think the current government is good, partition them for change. A lot of people talk about people they don't like how sky news talk about people they don't like. She is not in jail or been arrested so she has done nothing wrong. Some of her stuff may not be real ethical but you could say that about 1000s of business people. I don't think the current and past goverments (both sides) will do anything wrong because they want to t future prospects.
  23. Why pick on Gina, she is not the only one smart enough making the most of our current mining laws. We should be happy she is an Australian doing it and as long as she is not breaking any laws good on her. If you don't like it write to your politicians. the clowns that are in at the moment aren't doing anything about it. She employs are large amount of Australians in very good paying jobs. Just because you don't like her politics says a lot more about you than her.
  24. $2.80 in regional SA
  25. How big are the massive batterys in WA
