  1. Fear (fear of the world becoming unlivable) sells newspapers! Fearmongers have been operating since the dawn of time, mostly grubby Govts especially in the last two years! There's nothing we can do to change what nature has in mind for us other than not make as much mess in our own backyard!
  2. The 'cockroaches' are already trying to achieve immunity:-)
  3. I imagine they chose half of Mr Otto's cycles due simplicity, I wanna see that starter motor!:-)
  4. We need another ice age anyway! Mankind will only be here for less than a blink of a eye in the planets evolution. I'm not a subscriber to this BS global warming crap but it sure does create a lot hysteria & jobs:-) The virus is just passing thru, we kill each other thru other methods far more than this flu bug will ever do!
  5. Education is changing, always will be as the human race evolves (sometimes not for the better) so does where it all begins, at home. Back in my day as a kid dad worked mum looked after us 4 terrors, never had a granny or grandpa to look after us, never had any money to spare, mum did the lot, dad just came home & reached for his belt!:-) No techno stuff not even a TV at first just the backyard during the day to play in & bed by 7pm, any wonder i left home at 16!:-) I would hate to be bringing up young kids these days, couldn't think of anything worse especially in our current 'little future climate'!!
  6. Whilst I don't deny we have a shifting climate the human species which currently occupy the planet wouldn't be able to make any discernible change in the time we have left here! The planet has been changing/evolving since it was formed a few years ago, our existence is but less than a blink of an eye! Whilst we do have pollution, garbage etc we wouldn't be where we are today if we didn't, progress leaves a footprint, this is ours! Perhaps after the next ice age (which we truly need) the next species will live in harmony!
  7. Dax well said:-) Schools to me seem like factories, pumping them out like a sausage factory pre wrapped in cotton wool!
  8. Just goes to show how political correctness is the new world order!😁
  9. Ive got a mate who lost his flying gig thanks to the grubs in charge with 3 sprogs under 12 & he's 62! Late starter. He & his co-pilot are hating having to home school the kids, they find it frustrating and fear their kids are going to pay for this clustertruck down the track! Me takes me hat off to him although I know he's struggling:-( Education these days is producing a diff type of end product. Back in the 60-70's there were jobs a plenty (especially trades) no one went without work but now they are pumping out kids with fairy degrees like "The Arts" etc, a lot will flounder from menial job to menial job their whole lives, tragic:-(
