    Total cost $1.10 minus difference = 10c. Two items = 1/2 10c = 5c each. Who mentioned GST?

  5. Nah, Elon says you can post what you want - child porno, rape, murder - all's well????? I got that video in an email from a mate on my email list. Like me, he forwarded what he received. You know the old go-around. Whoever originated it appears to have posted to every member of parliament The recipiant list was as long as your arm. I replied with the YT link to the longer version in the attachment to Octave's Fact Check email. Haven't had his reply yet.
  6. Here is a direct quote from his email. All's well here, it's just that I have been working like a demon, trying to get all my equipment, part and tools moved out of my soon-to-be-demolished workshop/factory unit. I've been putting in 12 and 14 hr days, sorting, packing, loading, hauling and unloading, about 80 to 100 tonnes of gear to my block in the wheatbelt. I haven't worked this hard for about 30 years. A mate came up from down South and helped me out for a fortnight, and that was a great effort - but I nearly buggered him, he's a year older than me and not quite as fit. I haven't had time to even glance at rec flying or the social forum, and I do miss both. It's been a grind getting up at 5:00AM or 5:30AM, and not getting home until often well after 7:00PM. Fortunately, I can see the end in sight within a fortnight - even though we are all supposed to have vacated on 30th April - several of the factory unit owners are still also grinding away at their moving, and still look like they have a fortnight to go. The whole episode of being kicked out unceremoniously with less than 6 weeks notice has left most of the blokes angry and stressed-out too.

  8. Two electric vehicle's collide in Canada. The video shows the explosive aftermath of such. Pretty scary... watch it all! The awesome energy released as those batteries explode makes gasoline explosions look tame… no wonder the firefighters will not come near a lithium battery fire. Two EV crash.mp4

Did a double-take at the supermarket today. Walking down an aisle, a ticket caught my eye which I thought said RABBI TEARS. I went back to check, and it said RABBIT EARS. It was the petfood aisle.
  15. You haven't read all the comments on that group. And I have a former female work colleague here in Melbourne with whom I am a Facebook friend, and she has posted a couple of times that ALL men are cheaters and she is glad she stayed single. Also complains about unsolicited dick pics. I called her out on the "ALL MEN" bit in a PM. She never replied.

Lee Mack's joke while people were thinking about the anagram question was, "Anagram is an anagram of anagram if you swap the A's around." Right on both counts, Marty. I'm late responding because I was at the Men's Shed and the NBN was out, so no internet. Next question: Mo plays rock paper scissors against Lesley. Mo does rock, then paper, then scissors Lesley does paper, then scissors, then rock What is the final score? 1-1 Draw 2-1 to Mo 3-0 to Lesley
  17. A couple of posters have alluded to a difference in expectations and actions. I have been getting posts on Facebook from an American group called Feminine News. One of the discussions has been about sexual expectations in marriage (and other relatioships). The women's point of view is, it's my body, I'll do what I want with it. If I say no, I mean no. The opposing male view is, I married you and vowed off all others, I am entitled to it when I want it. Single men think they are entitled to it without putting a ring on the finger. The new cry from women is that if they were lost in the woods and had to choose between a man and a bear, they would pick the bear. There has to be compromise. Both points of view have some merit, but it requires the understanding by both that there may be good reasons for their decisions, and they need to discuss them logically. Unfortunately women are feeling that ALL men are toxic, and and men are felling that ALL women are b****es.

Stolen from Facebook…… ‘The young woman who submitted the tech support message below (about her relationship to her husband) presumably did it as a joke. Then she got a reply that was way too good to keep to herself. The tech support people's love advice was hilarious and genius! The query: Dear Tech Support, Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slowdown in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as: NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and House cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do? Signed: Desperate The response (that came weeks later out of the blue)… Dear Desperate, First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an Operating System. Please enter command: I thought you loved me.html and try to download Tears 6.2. Do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. However, remember, overuse of the Tears application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0, or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download Snoring Loudly Beta version. Whatever you do, DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Mother-In-Law 1.0 as it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources. In addition, please do not attempt to re-install the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0. Good Luck Tech Support

That's right Pete. Next question: Which of these is an anagram of a day of the week? DUSTY TEA WEEDY DAWN SHADY RUT I know some of these are too easy, but you might be surprised how many contestants get them wrong. Twenty five of the 100 contestants in the latest episode of the UK version got this one wrong, and it was the simplest of the lot, the first question of the episode: Which word below has the most vowels? Vowel Consonant Letter.
