Here is a direct quote from his email.
All's well here, it's just that I have been working like a demon, trying to get all my equipment, part and tools moved out of my soon-to-be-demolished workshop/factory unit.
I've been putting in 12 and 14 hr days, sorting, packing, loading, hauling and unloading, about 80 to 100 tonnes of gear to my block in the wheatbelt.
I haven't worked this hard for about 30 years. A mate came up from down South and helped me out for a fortnight, and that was a great effort - but I nearly buggered him, he's a year older than me and not quite as fit.
I haven't had time to even glance at rec flying or the social forum, and I do miss both. It's been a grind getting up at 5:00AM or 5:30AM, and not getting home until often well after 7:00PM.
Fortunately, I can see the end in sight within a fortnight - even though we are all supposed to have vacated on 30th April - several of the factory unit owners are still also grinding away at their moving, and still look like they have a fortnight to go.
The whole episode of being kicked out unceremoniously with less than 6 weeks notice has left most of the blokes angry and stressed-out too.
