  1. There ya go, Govs have had to double fines for gouging, l wonder why, and servos all over the country have so far already been fined- what a surprise. On another note they've also lowered diesel fuel standards for 60 days, means they add things to increase supply. For anyone mechanical, is that still ok for the motor, especially one like mine with high k's ?
  2. lt's ironic really and l mean no one knows yet where this will lead or for how long but it's crazily similar to his mate Putin's thing with Ukr. Trump expected to be done in days a wk or 2 too but it looks like it's expanding into a total shyt show so far, we shall see l guess. Saw a report the new Supreme Leader hasn't actually been seen in public yet , they've just been using pics and older clips. They say his poss' still in a coma and still badly injured. Dunno how true it is.
  3. Yeah , exactly what l was thinking. Matter a fact the Alphagan Leaders words when the yanks went home, rang n my ears when Rump started this. He said the Americans have all the fancy weapons, but we have time, 100s of yrs if needed. Same thing again here l'd say.
  4. Dunno if your talking to me but l never boasted about anything, just sayin. As for village idiot , says who , you , who tfk are you. My older sister doesn't vote either same reasons and she's a professor, l've built and ran my own business 35yrs. Sad bc l don't vote, oh shyt yeah, lose heaps of sleep. ps, your actually way way out voted yourself have you seen the numbers from around the world of voting percentages ? Even in the great old US OF A yank land.
  5. Agree , Barnaby's always been a wanker .
  6. Yeah right, interesting.
  7. Yeah but yaknow, a worst choice isn't gonna win or do anything anyway sooo , not even worth the trip down and time to me. l voted every time when Howard was in , to get the yank bum kissing moron out. 😁
  8. Any thoughts on Angus ?
  9. Yep, same, exactly. To me it hasn't even been worth the time out to go vote haven't for 15yrs now. To me there's been no one even worth voting for so forget it. lf there ever is l'll go vote.
  10. So what are peoples thoughts on how long this things going for ? l've had the feeling it'll drag on and get a lot worse buttttt, who knows.
  11. Shit eh, you gonna put it in yourself or ?
  12. Yeah , the odds are buckleys and none for sure but l use to think well they're also those same odds for the one that wins it every wk to so yaknow, we've all got as gooda chance as anyone else is the way l look at it. Mind you, l don't even play it ha ha, haven't for yrs , thinking l might start again though, why not.
  13. l left Melb early 30s and never really started lotto again , always wish l did though. We had fav local newsagents back then though that always gave out a nice vibe and they were always really convenient to but l never really felt that with others when l left so just never got around to restarting.
  14. Back in my 30s , l bought this so called system. It could do much better now with AI but even back then if you understood how it worked, can't even remember it now ha ha but l calculated that it should win within 12mths. lf you bought the tickets every wk. Back in my 20s though my gf and l had this just one 4 square ticket. We picked the numbers together when we 1st met and she'd put it on every wk. That ticket was a freak, we won about 10grand with it over the 2yrs we were together. It'd win something every 2nd or 3rd wk in some division or other. The biggest was about 2k but wasn't a doubt in our minds one day, that thing would've won the biggie. Lost touch with her when we split and the ticket went with it , damn it. But the funniest thing though, there was one number on it l could remember that always seemed to be in our winnings- 24. Well at my work later they started running just a one number draw thing, whoever got the number won the money in the jar. l picked and held onto 24 and guess what, l was the only one that ever won that thing in the 6mths. There was about 7 of us but l was the only one, l shyt u not. So l still went on to win another 5 or 600 with one number from that ticket. They were all getting really pissed at me and l was feeling guilty to, was kinda relieved to leave that job in the end. 😁
  15. lt's just a real shame in this country there's no true visionary anywhere to vote for. A true leader with real vision real ideals, to fix what needs fixing and set us up in a brilliant direction , to truly look after their people and country and hold everything we have here dear. There's no one, hasn't been since ld even know. Hawk maybe could've been such a special leader on the surface , not sure how he went though. Hanson at least has very very strong ideals, to at least point our country to somewhere but ofc she'd also be scary as hell at the helm too in most other ways, Aus wouldn't risk it and l'm not saying l think they should- just before anyone jumps all over that one. My only point is that there's never one truly special, made for the job once in a lifetime someone that's dreamt of the job their whole lives for the right reasons and visions bc of what they want for for our country and people. There's no one, never is, such a shame. Most of the Majors are just politicians, people that just seem to end up falling into the job, like Angus has, Lee. All the other leaders on both often just end up getting voted in bc they have no one else at the time. l think Albo had some sort of real vision but we see where that's landed but he's never been a truly talented leader though anyway.
  16. Personally , there's no one worth a vote in my opinion atm. People have no idea the between lines stuff labors doing not only to our housing but all through. But then , is there anyone better , ldk. What are people thinking about Angus although wrong thread l suppose ? ps, wasn't saying Rump has done that stuff but f you watched his campaigning back when , that's a lot of what he was claiming to do and apparently why a lot of yanks put him in.
  17. That he is no doubt about it. You'd never believe the so called most powerful man in the world could end up being a brain farting fool like Rump.
  18. Nah wasn't saying the prices are the PM , just that he said we've got plenty for mths ahead. Ofc gov could do something about any of the gouging goes on here though. Rump won his election promising to get fuel prices down, house prices back to affordable, cost of living down. Very convenient though they estimate the future price then to and start making us pay for it in advance. That'd mean when or if that price actually does come round we've already paid for it so it should go down not up. And you'll notice to when fuel is cheap all over the world they somehow don't seem to estimate that in advance and cutting our price in advance. Matter of fact they'll string out their old price mths and mths. They gouge, ofc they do at any chance they get just like our super markets and lots of others that's why it's all over tv with new attempts every few mths at catching them out and fuel watches and all the rest of it and going off about the holiday gouging. They could justify those then to with demand but if that was really the case then it wouldn't be all over tv trying to stop it, well, talking about it anyway. l mean not arguing, never bother myself people can believe what they like just sayin but me, we get snowed left and right have been decades in every direction. Eveen our Covid prices on all sorts of crap including fuel, it's been 3 or 4yrs really but nothings gone back down to where it should be even allowing for the 4yrs of inflation since. l mean l suppose they could blame that on the Russia Ukr situation/fuel and all that but could've told whatever the case anyway we'd never see pre Covid prices again even allowing for inflation.
  19. Nah didn't mean he's anything like Rump actually wish he was in some ways- some, just meant that he's nonetheless doing just as good a job of screwing us over here as Rump is there ha, and bloody everywhere.
  20. Diesel 245 here now. Yet the PM was on last night saying oh no no no we've got plenty of fuel and also reserves. Well, in that case , why is it up 70c in my area in a wk then and when the war's hardly 2wks old ? Tell you why the good old Aussie way see a chance to gouge and off they go exactly as predicted. Daughter showed me a write up saying it could be 3bucks by next wk.
  21. Yeah heard a run down on him today they reckon he's very strongly of his fathers mind and views too. No surprise. But do you know his own family was also killed in this so between that and his father , l hate to think where this is all gonna go later on if he stays in power.
  22. You can add me to it too ha ha. Loveee talking with my daughter about anything, she's as sharp as a tack, extremely aware and just an all-round brilliant person, 23. Use to see a lot of her friends to when she was still living with me, she's out on her own now. Some of them were great girls to but others, well. Herself and some friends also well aware of the idiots supposedly leading our country too and with some strong thoughts. Some of the boys to wellllll, lets just say they're a very different breed to when l grew up even she acknowledges that and calls most of them manchilds these days, which is somem like many of them came across to me too. Too much internet, keyboards and fb's and not enough real world reality. Not to say all but l have noticed it outside too. Half of them too sadly haven't even grown up with dads and you can see it too.
  23. Clive Palmer said now l know he did a lot of rambling but that Libs and Lab both used pretty well the same model . Well, to me there's always been differences but sometimes l also see he was right on much of it too. Which doesn't give us much to choose from bc to me especially with this last stretch of of Albo, they both fk the place just in slightly different ways. Gotta wonder what'll become of Hanson next one the way they're going but we def' need a 3rd party .
  24. Midnight Oil , how could l have forgotten them. Stevie Wright - Eve , if l spelt that right. Growing up there was some incredible stuff out there in Aussie music , such a shame it's all forgotten. Can't believe it sometimes. Later on the Cruel Sea, so many more. l dunno wth was happening in the world music wise say through the 70s. UK going off with led Zeplin , Sabbath, think Bowie was starting out through that period, not sure where the Beatles were in that think they came earlier but l mean what a decade or two. But l reckon some of the best Aussie stuff and bands were around growing up too that you never hear of these days sadly. l wonder if there'll even be another decade in music like that.
  25. For sure , couldn't stand either of them either , or Howard. lmo, there's no one out of either of the two main worth even voting for.
