What I want is for our politicians to get their heads out of the trough and do what is best for Australians. Only yesterday I heard that they are going to overhaul the citizenship vetting. They are going to look at the criminal records of potential citizens. I would have thought that that was one of the first thing that would have been looked at in the past, but it sems not. And if perhaps I lived in another country for years, I wouldn't expect to remain welcome if I didn't have at least a fair grasp of the language.
