onetrack Posted February 2, 2020 Share Posted February 2, 2020 I love these old sci-fi fiction films, they're good for a laugh, listening to the accents, and seeing what they thought futuristic devices would look like. Few of the guesses were ever accurate. "Metropolis" is another favourite watch of mine. The technical mastery is superb for 1927. It's a shame no full copy of the film exists, but the group that reconstructed as much as they could, and put it up on YouTube, deserve accolades.
