  1. I am always blown away by the iPhone App that the phone "listens" to a song and gives you all the details - even in a crowded and somewhat noisy bar
  2. What, it's not sitting on it's landing gear?
  3. There was a trifecta of detective series on Channel 9(?) at the time, Columbo driving around in his Peugeot 403 convertible, Dennis Weaver as McCloud riding around on his horse and Robert Blake as Baretta. I was only in my mere teens but watched them with my Mum who loved them. Of course there were many others but they seemed to be the quality ones.
  4. There would be a couple of hundred of them in Sydney, easy to find via Google. They all have different manner to do things from thuggery to pure legal depending on your requirements so it's hard to answer the question specifically. I have seen a few results of people finding people via Facebook as Scott mentions.
  5. Could try a debt collection agency just to find them.
  6. I thought this post was about some African guy.
  7. Don't know about Oz but in China the a'holes ring you mostly in the middle of the night just long enough not to ring your phone but leaves you with a 'missed call'. When you ring them back it starts a recorded advert message that you just paid for and they use random numbers so you don't know if it's genuine missed call or not.
  8. Nope, the Greeks and Italians were quite welcome too, bought their good culture and moral with them, left their shiit at home and intergrated very well and made great advances for our culture. I have little interest in people who want to escape their crap oppressive countries and yet want to fully maintain the same religions, beliefs and cultures here that made their countries the way they are. I am not religious and you don't need to be to understand that it's our moral based in Christianity that got us to where we are. ...and 36 pages? WTH?
  9. I got the joke Phil, and chuckled, it's just a real touchy subject in Oz.
  10. In case anyone is interested ... A city close to me is currently building a new shipping port (river port) hand in hand with a major industrial development area. They are very keen to attract Foreign companies who will use the export facilities to make this development a success, attracting investment, local employment etc. The strategies on offer are extremely lucrative from major chunks of prime titled industrial land for free (obvious qualifying period but otherwise no catches), assistance with financing (get the land for free then mortgage it is just one way), Gov grants depending on subject, patents/IPR costs covered, legal assistance and generally the full support of the Government. Theres a lot more advantages as well. If you are aware of an Australian company who, for instance, is looking to expand their product to International markets and need the right base or one who is looking to start up, the bigger the better obviously but small is ok as well, I would mention to you that in Chinese culture it's common to recieve between 3% and 10% as a typical introduction fee on initial gross contract value. If for example you introduced a company who invested $20mil locally you could walk away with $1mil in your pocket - ask me how I know. This isn't exclusive to Oz companies btw but I do like to give Oz a leg up where I can, better profits go to Oz than elsewhere.
  11. I just hope Daz doesn't get excited!!
  12. I don't want to sound picky either but "But" and "Or" are conjunctions and don't belong in your sentence structuring. Should read; Examples; The proper way to emphisise would be to note these in Italics, not high case although TECNAM might be an acronym in which case it could stand. hanger hydraulic gauge Sensenich (note the high case S being a name). A classic ... We also use English grammar. Just having fun by the way ...
  13. Nope (ex-Mitchells Drilling coring rig 19 offsider here). Trust me, just some bored road workers (or farmer), those areas drive you crazy.
  14. Aliens are actually easier to explain that some of the hard drinking outback road workers I've met.
  15. Who's JESLIS?
  16. I have another gripe, bloody Admin here put a "top of page" feature on the forum and now I'm spoilt, every time I go to another website I instinctly look for the feature!
  17. Welcome to China, Public Service systems learnt in early last Century courtesy of the British and hasn't changed since. Everything written out by hand and duplicated over and over again .... one mistake and you do that entire page over again, no corrections allowed and you also go away and do it losing your place in the queue.
  18. Ok, I got a gripe, Youtube or other videos of cars, trains, planes and other machinery where they play music over the natural sounds that I want to listen too, idiots.
  19. You wackscally wabbit you ...

  21. I did a RWC on a WLA at BJ's that the owner went AWOL for about 6 months so it became the parts pickup bike for a while. Darn full of character and quite a quick bike relitive to it's age. The clutch took a bit to get used to as did the gearshift but very enjoyable.
