Thirsty
And another amazing masterpiece! Go to 2:10 to see the engine run (100cc flat 12!)
sfGnome
Notice the closing credits? It took longer to build than the average home-built aircraft, (but wasn't that crankshaft a thing of beauty!).
Phil Perry
Whilst at college in 1965, my friend and I built a working model of a miniature lathe,. . . ( aprox 900mm in length to give you some idea of scale, . . .) we thought we were quite clever then, it took us 10 months to complete, working in our own time some evenings as well as during college hours, and conning a local foundry into making the bed and other cast parts. . . . It sat in a glass case in the college lobby for a couple of years. BUT. . . Looking at that V-12 engine, this pales so far into insignificance I'm gobsmacked. ( I wonder if the bloke has any other hobbies . . . . ? )
